(Alright, here goes.) Yew takes out an Asterisk and raises it into the air. As he switches into the Black Mage job, a blue light raidiates out from the Asterisk and envelopes the combatants, who find themselves in a place that looks like this:  "This is the Asterisk Barrier. Nothing can get in or out of here unless I allow it or we're all defeated. Now then..." Yew points at Slasher. "I am Yew Geniolgia of the Three Cavaliers, bearer of many asterisks! With my friends at my side, I will not fail!" Yew casts Firaga on Slasher and the duplicates. (basically, the Asterisk Barrier is the game's explanation in universe of why you can't run from boss fights. While there have been a few cases of people entering or exiting the Asterisk Barrier mid-battle, all of them have either had their own Asterisks or at least been playable characters of the first game doing so in the second and likely having figured out how they work due to other reasons. If you're wondering about the two sentences adressed to Slasher, I'm mimicking the style of boss introductions.) |

(The duplicates as well, I don't see any reason they would be left out. This is just a way to keep the Rattatas from interfering.)

(I made the two battle themes play together and it actually has a decent effect.)
Yew uses Firaga, attacking all the necromorphs. The duplicates start burning, but the Corrupted doesn't seem to ignite. Sans uses Gaster Blaster on a duplicate, eliminating it. The other is on fire, but still standing. King Boo makes a spiky ball fall on it. It falls to the ground...
Goombario: "This is Slasher_Necromorph... He's a corpse reanimated by an alien Virus. The only way to defeat him is by burning him or cutting his limbs. It seems he has the body morph ability of Virus though, which means he can just grow more appendages. If we cut enough, we might cause him enough damage to eventually KO him."
Party:
1.Yew
2.Sans
3.King Boo
4.Goombario
Enemies:
1.Slasher_Necromorph (Corrupted)
2.Slasher_Necromorph (Duplicate)-KO?
3.Slasher_Necromorph (Duplicate)-KO?

Lets use the physical gaster blaster(again not the laser) as a shield for Yew and sans will turn slasher's soul blue and attack with blue bones

Sans puts himself in front of Yew usind a Gaster Blaster as a shield. The skeleton then turns the soul of the enemy blue. The necromorph starts running towards an undetermined target, but is staggered by blue bones.
King Boo makes Spiky Balls fall from the sky to make sure the duplicates are KO.
Goombario uses Charge as he starts flashing
Slasher grows 2 more appendages.

Firaga Rain. Four hits of Firaga at 0.6x the normal damage each hit, for a total of 2.4x damage.

Yew uses multiple Firaga on the enemy, but it seems to concentrate to resist the fire.
Sans breaks that concentration by using a Gaster Blaster. It doesn't seem to actually hurt Slasher, but it staggers him and he starts burning.
Goombario: "I think he uses the body morph in a way to put out the fire...
He's currently burned, but we can't let him concentrate or he'll put it out."
King Boo: "Two more turns and he should go down by the fire..."
Goombario keeps charging, while King Boo keeps attacking the corpses.
The necromorph has now 6 appendages. He runs towards Yew.

Switch to Swordmaster and use Nothing Ventured. This will reduce the damage he deals by half if he's using a physical attack and result in a powerful counter that I will aim at his limbs. Just to be safe equip the Freelancer skill Stand Ground which gives me a chance of surviving a lethal blow with 1 HP remaining.

Sans keeps hindering Slasher with Gaster Blasters.
The necromorph still reaches Yew, but since he's slowed down by the blasters, he only stabs Yew once before getting pushed away with powerful force.
Goombario assists with a charged headbonk, making the enemy fall to the ground. King Boo immobilizes the enemy with a spiked ball.
Slasher_Necromorph is stuck on the ground as he burns into oblivion.
His data then reappears as he looks around in confusion.
Slasher_Necromorph: "Huh?"
King Boo: "I know, being uncorrupted is confusing... I'll explain everything later!"
Computer Voice: "Mission complete. Sending party back to the Vortex."

As the party appears outside the house, they can briefly see a humanoid being made of static pass through the front door...
All windows are boarded up.
King Boo: "This looks bad..."
Slasher_Necromorph: "Whatever, let's find her and get this over with."
