(Well, how much control does Virus have over them? If the control is strong enough that one could argue we're not fighting King Boo but rather a piece of Virus using him as a means of attacking, I would say that it should probably work just fine.)

(Basically, Virus modified his data so that every negative aspect of King Boo takes over him, making him an easy to manipulate pawn, but Virus is not actually inside King Boo right now.)

(Questioning Karmic Retribution right now... In THE MASTER V1, King Boo was actually a pretty good guy. Now though, he's corrupted by Virus. Therefore, the character himself is not evil, but it doesn't change the fact that he's corrupted. Should Karmic Retribution work against all corrupted or should it depend on the character's nature before he was corrupted?) If a character has committed a Sin in the past then that character is effected by Karmic Retribution no matter what

Everyone gets out of the shadows as spiked balls fall from the sky where they were before. The spiked balls doesn't disappear.
Goombario: "Phew! That was a close one."
Yew shoots King Boo from a distance, as he separates into 4. Sans only sees one King Boo though, as he teleports and throws bones on him.
Goombario looks at Yew: "Thanks to Sans' glasses, we know which one is the real one, but the illusions can still hurt us anyway."
King Boo seems to have taken quite a lot of damage from Sans bones.
King Boo: "What's that? That hurts a lot!"
King Boo's eyes get a little less red...
Purple energy starts to gather in his crown again, as the platform starts tilting.
Enemies: 1.King Boo (Duplicate) 2.Illusion (Minion) 3.Illusion (Minion) 4.Illusion (Minion)

Sans fires multiple Gaster Blasters at King Boo, while the spiky balls start rolling towards the party. Yew dodges them, while Goombario headbonks King Boo, avoiding damage by being in the air.
Sans auto-dodges one of the balls, but is hit by another one and is KO'd (pretty sure Sans has 1 HP. You usually return to the Vortex when you're KO'd, but I think Yew can revive you.)
The illusions shoot lasers from their eyes, at Goombario.
Goombario: "Ugh... I can't take much more..."
King Boo staggered from the damage, preventing him from attacking: "You won't get away..."
The 4 King Boo swaps around.
Party 1.Sans (KO) 2.Yew 3.Goombario
Enemies: 1.King Boo? 2.King Boo? 3.King Boo? 4.King Boo?

Brave up once, cast Raise on Sans, then Curaga on Goombario. So much for my plan to use a Sidewinder this turn...

Goombario hidebonks one of the King Boo, but he hits an illusion. It dispels in one hit though.
Yew revives Sans and fully cures Goombario.
The illusions are revealed again, since Sans is back. The three King Boo charge their crown...
King Boo: "Don't resist, I'll make masterpieces out of you three!"
1.King Boo (Corrupted) 2.Illusion (Minion) 3.Illusion (Minion)

Switch to the Astrologian class and cast Status Barrier (immunity to status conditions for three turns) with the Group Cast all support ability letting me cast it on the whole party. The Astrologian class has a job specialty called Prescience which allows buffs to be applied at the start of the turn (even beating out other priority moves), so it should be applied before King Boo can turn anyone into a painting.

*King boo feels his sins crawling on his soul

Yew casts Status Barrier on everyone, preventing King Boo from transforming the party into paintings.
Sans moves his hand around as bones appear all over the place. Sans throws King Boo around like a ragdoll in the pile of bones, while also using gigantic Gaster Blasters, then smashing King Boo one last time as it breaks apart into an explosion of data.
King Boo regenerates, as his eyes are as red as there's supposed to be.
King Boo: "Huh? Were am I?"
Computer Voice: "The mission has ended. You can speak freely in the Vortex."
The party disappears.
(There was supposed to be a final turn after this one where King Boo turned giant chasing you guys, but Sans "Final Attack" ended the battle sooner.)
