Magis - Terraius

Infernus walks down the streets of Magis, looking for his aunt, Yura. Apparently she should be visiting today. His crazy grandfather walks alongside him, buying some rather...strange choices of food at the market all while making bad puns. Hard to believe he once was the Arcsage. Eventually, he catches sight of Yura and she runs over and gives him a hug. "Infernus! Wow, look how much you've grown! I remember when you were just this tall. Magis just seems to keep getting bigger and bigger every day, doesn't it? So many powerful mages are here. It must be that magic school, huh? Speaking of which, how are the magic classes going? Getting any better at not setting everything on fire...?" The two continue to walk down the street and talk.

"Hahaha, I guess you're right! How have things been recently? I'm guessing Sylvia and Lancet are doing a pretty good job of running things from the looks of it."

"The usual. Lupis is always busy as the head of the royal guard. Reyol has been training to be just like him. Forrest has been doing very well in his lessons, but he could use a little work in his knife throwing and quick weapon switching. He pretty much mastered the basics though." The two soon approach the palace and enter to find Lancet and Sylvia trying to decide where exactly to put a new ancient text they just got. Would it be better in the library or in the magic school...?

"I'm not sure. In the library, anyone can look at it, but it could get ruined. In the school, it will be more limited, but it won't get destroyed. It's rare to get old texts detailing the eidolons though. Hmm? Oh, Infernus! You're back! And you brought Yura! How have you been?"

"Great! Things have been going pretty well in Terran." Yura gives a hug to both Lancet and Sylvia. "Lupis told me to say hi to you. He couldn't come. He's a little busy with work and the kids said they had something they wanted to do. Gods know what they're planning in actuality though. Probably some crazy adventure."

"That's a pretty good idea! It's no wonder you make the great wife you do. Don't complain about there being nothing to do, Infernus. There are plenty of fun things here. I mean, there aren't a lot of giant monsters to fight, but that's a good thing. The times your mother and I grew up in were much more difficult. I think you're lucky to live in such a peaceful era."

"You're right, Sylvia. I think it's great to sit around and relax. Especially when the alternative is fighting your family and friends. That whole Dark Lord ordeal was pretty terrible. I'm glad it ended with the world safe and sound though. I do admit that I miss the Guardians a lot though. Phoenix used to be such a fun person...but now isn't really the time for that. It's so great to see you again. What should we do? I was thinking of going around town and doing some shopping. Maybe stopping by the academy to say hi to Tren and Elli."

"Great! Maybe we can stop and eat out too! Not to be rude, but your father's cooking can be...questionable. I'm not really in the mood for Gysahl Green Salad." They all head out and start looking around at the shops. "So what do you think we should buy? Maybe I should bring back a gift for the kids..."

"How about a good luck charm?"

"I dunno how much they'd like that. Forrest tends to like more practical things and I'm sure Reyol would end up breaking it on her adventures."

"Alright, I guess I'll get him a bunch of those elemental shurikens." Yura then notices something out of the corner of her eye. "Oh, that's perfect! A replica of the Gods' Necklace! It looks just like the real thing. Wow. I'll take this one please." After Yura does her shopping, it starts to get late.

"We should probably get home. I have a lot more to do. I can only put off my duties for so long."

"Of course." They all return to the palace for the night as Lancet stays up, writing out some important papers.
