(I actually have a few ideas. I'll start with one and use the others if one ombo is not enough for the swordsmen.)
Gugu moves his hands around, running in place and making circles with his hands.
Talia: "But that doesn't make any sense..."
Gugu urges Talia to try.
Talia: "..."
Talia uses Stone Bullet as Gugu follow the bullet and uses Makeshift Shield on it to make it bigger and bigger, then slides away just before the bullet hits the enemy.
Talia: "Wow... You can actually run and work as fast as my bullets..."
(Don't question it. It's Gugu.)

Alright, I think I have one idea. Flash of Light: Flash Bomb + Light Shield Absorb the light of a Flash Bomb into a Light Shield, creating a barrier of light that envelopes the entire party and can negate physical attacks until it's depleted. (Basically, think the Golem summon. The barrier has its own health, perhaps decided by a fraction of the combined defense or HP stats of Reyol and Forrest, and until that health is depleted it will take physical hits for the party. As for why it's only physical attacks, remember that in addition to being expensive the Golem summon is balanced out in FF6 by only being useable once per battle like every other Esper. Here where as far as I can tell there's no limit to how often Dual Techs can be used and if it's cheap enough to use at all right now then it's not particularly expensive, there needs to be some other way of keeping it from being OP.) Light Shield does that already. Well, its upgrades do. Stage one Light Shield protects all allies from one attack and breaks. Stage two has low health and protects all allies from attacks before breaking. Stage three has decent health and protects all allies from attacks before breaking. |

Forrest throws down his flash bomb and as it starts to emit a bright flash, Reyol controls the light and creates small balls of light that rotate around each ally. Sipul and Rix combine their abilities and slow down the incoming enemies while confusing them, making two of the Training Dummies start to fight each other. The other Training Dummy hits Reyol, doing a little damage, but then being countered by a powerful flash of light and being blinded. Talia prepares to fire gigantic bullets made by Gugu at her enemies, damaging all of them at once. Aqua catches on fire as Red swipes his whip over him, setting his whip on fire and smacking an enemy with his flaming whip. Forbit launches blue fireballs forward as Espree charges ahead and grabs both of them in her hands, making her fists become enveloped in blue flames. As she punches an enemy twice, it creates blue explosions and the Training Dummies are defeated. The ninja all nod and tell you that you have mastered a new skill before suddenly disappearing.
Dual Techniques are now available!
