Resistances: none
It it can be damaged by electricity but when it rams someone with an electric armor the ramming usually does more damage to the foe then to the eye boss)

Shulk and Reyn attacks the enemy's symbol as some kind of black shadowy blood comes out of it. Kuromori starts shaking.
Spazmatism shoots some flames on Sparlectros, as Retinazer rams into it. Sparlectros is burned and launched backward, as he opens another vortex and disappears inside it.
An electric explosion surrounds the beast as it roars slightly.

I actually dont know what do here. I guess shulk and reyn will just do regular attacks on the sigil
Twins will wait for the portal to open again and then attack(note that they turn into the mechanical forms automatically when they are at low health)

(I just talked about Shulk because he was the one getting KO'd but I'll just assume Reyn dodges too, because that's just logical.)
Shulk uses Monado Speed and jump off the belly. Rayn sees his friend and does the same, knowing he can have visions.
The beast punches, moving forward, revealing itself to be Zinogre. Shulk dodges since he's faster, but Reyn is hit by an electric punch and afflicted with Thunderblight.
Thew Twins are looking out for the Vortex. As soon as it opens, they shoot at it. Sparlectros comes out and takes some damage.
Sparlectros: "WABA!"
Some small clouds appear above everyone... Zinogre is walking around Reyn, ominously looking at him. Kuromori turns his head towards Reyn, seemingly charging another attack.

(actually...monado speed only effects one party member on my choice)
Shulk: "Reyn!"
Shulk uses Slit Edge on Zinogre and then uses light heal on Reyn
The Twins see Reyn in trouble and focus Ranged attacks on Zinogre

Everyone attacks Zinogre, staggering him so he doesn't attack. Shulk then heals Reyn, as Kurormori shoots an electric projectile again. Reyn and Shulk are in the thunder cloud left behind. The small clouds above everyone shoots an electric bolt. Shulk and Reyn take decent damage, while the twin resist the attack. Zinogre jumps behind, Kuromori turns his full body around. Sparlectros is flying towards the sky.

(there is a xenoblade mechanic that really does not help much it it is worth mentioning. Tension. when a battle becomes intense the party members will have higher accuracy and do a bit more damage. when they miss attacks they lose tension)
Reyn uses the Aura Art Rage while shulk uses Shadow Eye
(shadow eye lowers Shulk's Aggro. making foes ignore shulk is most cases)
The Twins Fly up after Sparlectros shooting all kinds of projectiles at him

Before you confirm if this is your move or not, I actually think the last turn is a good place for the chain attack bar to appear.
I didn't have it in mind, but now it seems obvious to me.)

if the chain attack bars appear (or party gauge is full) do to twins get to participate in the chain attack? (because in xenoblade all intelligent lifeforms can use chain attacks)

Shulk will open up with Air slash on Kurormori to inflict Break Reyn will use Wild Down on the same target to inflict topple. then both twins attack the same target with a Cursed flame and laser combo.
(is a 4th attack possible? i dont think a fourth attack is possible due to the number of attacks is based on the bond between the characters.
also during chain attacks the attacks cannot be dodged. they can miss but they just cant be dodged.
another thing if an opponent resist a Certain status ailment Such as Break or topple. chain attacks ignore it (note that if a character is flat out immune to topple then they cannot be toppled no matter what))

The twins count as one character, so they can't, but Shulk and Reyn could since they are from the same game.) |
