New Skill:
Gate of Retribution Lv1: A dark purple clock manifests in the sky above Lyon and hovers over his head. For the rest of this round, half of all damage done to Lyon is absorbed by the clock. At the start of the next round of combat, all the damage absorbed is unleashed on a single enemy of Lyon's choice, in a large beam of dark energy that does damage equal to 2x the total amount of damage absorbed.
Is that okay?

Hmm. Maybe equal damage, but as a first skill, double damage is pretty...effective. I'll let you keep the double if there's some sort of catch to it.
...Isn't that the skill Solara used that one time?

I'll let you keep the double if there's some sort of catch to it. ...Isn't that the skill Solara used that one time? No, Solara used the 13th Age equivalent of Doom from FF. She just rolled really badly so it was very underwhelming.  Also, okay. I'm gonna give it some more thought then. I'm also considering something more to do with singing, like a Perish Song equivalent, or something to do with Arthurian mythology. Or maybe just a good old fashioned summon undead type thing. But all of Lyon's skills are going to share a certain theme. I eventually want him to get Knights of the Round. Maybe for Avalon's rank 10 reward. That would be fitting. |

Sounds more like a Lance thing since he's literally a knight, but both works. The Knights of the Round only obeyed King Arthur though. You know, the once and future ruler of Great Britain and one of the only mortals to ever sit on the Court of Avalon, AKA the Court of Summer. So they'd probably listen to his descendants too... *hint*hint* |

It's kind of a mimic skill, so it could really be anything. I guess a deciding factor is if you get to choose or if it's random Metronome style. |

Neo doesn't know... No one thought to tell him that you do one place in the afternoon and one at night. So you have to pick between Dramusic and Sports. And the other stuff.

Oh! I got it!
Here's the skill I want.
Gate of the Black Knight Lv1: Lyon opens a portal in the sky, calling forth a hero from the pages of history to aid him in battle. This skill summons the Black Knight, a towering demonic figure clad from head to toe in glistening black armor, wielding a massive battleaxe. The Knight is soley loyal to Lyon, and gets stronger with each subsequent level of the skill. Summons can only be used once per battle each, and they stay and fight for 3 combat rounds or until the battle is over.
Is that okay?

Why can't I do one club and still be on a sports team? That's perfectly reasonable. People do that IRL all the time. And the music club doesn't meet every day anyway. |
