Coilette and Carrie head on over to Ancien Village, looking around carefully. It's really a beautiful village. Forest surrounds it on all sides and a beautiful river runs through it. A giant tree grows in the center.
Both of you need to think of where to find that crystal.

You are directed toward the village elder's house by the people in the town. When you walk in you see an old man watching the news on his television. He greets you and you walk over to talk with him.
Elder: So you wish to...
The door suddenly opens as Danny and Charles come walking through.
Elder: Welcome. How can I help you?

Danny: You're lucky I don't have any time to mess with you guys...I'D STILL LIKE TO HAVE MY ROGGENROLA BACK! Anyway, we're looking for a relic or whatever.

Elder: Ah, so you're looking for the same thing! I have a wonderful idea! How about you four work together? I know the exact location of the relic, but you must pass the trials to reach it. It is to prove you are worthy. Come follow me.
The old man shows you over to two separate tunnel entrances into the giant tree.
Elder: Alright, how about you two go together and you two go together?
Coilette and Danny are sent down one tunnel while Charles and Carrie are sent down another...

Carrie is over come with guilt. She feels bad for taking Rogen but if she returns him the same thing might happen.
Carrie: Charles is it words can't describe how bad I feel about what I did to Danny. Yet, if if I have back Rogen he might just turn him into a Shadow pokemon again. I want to give him back but not if he does the same thing again. If he were to turn Rogen into a Shadow pokemon again and fought another member on my team they may not be as sorrowful in taking him.
So maybe you can help me I want to return his Pokemon but I don't want to do it if he just shadow blasts him again. Of course I have no way of knowing if he will keep his word until we see him again.
Carrie has her pokemon inside her Pokeball.

Charles: i know how he feels. if i had honedge or litwick taken away from me if i turned them into shadow pokemon then i would feel exactly has he feels. but the thing is. we need to use shadow pokemon for our big plan. so i will tell you. there is a reason we are turning pokemon into shadow pokemon. and no it is not for stupid world domination ideals. there is a legit good reason that im not allowed to tell you

Carrie: Still even if you, and Danny have a good reason dosent mean everyone in your team feel. The same way. I know if someone took PIka or Fennie from me and turned then into Shadow Pokemon even if it was for the greater good I would be devestated.
I remember hearing about this team from a far away land. They called themselves Team Plasma and there mission was to free Pokemon. On the surface there leader seem to really do this for the greater good. But in the end they had somebody in the shadows manipulating the whole thing.
Can you tell me in all honesty you trust everybody on your team? That they would lay there life on the line for you
I have a duty to protect Pokemon from being turned into mindless fighting machines. I can't just give Rogen back if he's just going to go through the same torture. If he has to hate me for that so be it. At least i know Rogen will be happy. Tell Danny I am sorry but until I can trust he wouldn't do this to another Pokemon or poor Rogen I will be keeping a hold on him sorry

Charles: I actually wont turn honedge or litwick into shadow pokemon. I care about them that much. You will see. Our goals will save this world. After we achive our goal we will let you guys purify the shadow pokemon but today. project Z depends on shadow pokemon research. But hey im just a simple grunt and danny is close to the boss.

In fact Mr. Danny your lucky I was the member of Team Purity who caught him. You think somebody else would even consider giving it back. I want some type of reassurance Rogen wouldn't be harm. You can go on about how much you love it but you took away it's free will, feelings, thought. You basically turned him into a slave. Hmph
Carrie (to Charles ): You on the other hand I actually believe you love your Honedge and Litwick. The fact you said you would never even think of turning them to Shadow Pokemon. I actually can respect that. Here give this to Danny (Clair gives a Poke ball containing Pidgey) if it's a trial we have to overcome together I rather not have some jerk weighing us down. To bad his precious machine isnt around so he could enslave this pidgey
