Malefio plays his War Cry card as Virus' evil laugh paralyzes Awkward. Virus then appears on the field and corrupts Mia, taking control of her. She then slashes at Awkward with her sword and joins Malefio's side. Awkward's health drops from 27 to 19. Malefio ends his turn and the Illuminati triangle flies out of the meme card, hitting him in the face. His health falls from 20 to 15. Awkward draws a card as the update lock shatters into pieces.

(Interesting use of the Fog Bomb...)
Balynka appears as she is summoned, throwing down a smoke bomb and charging Lucas wildly, hitting him with a sword as he shatters apart. Mia then slashes Awkward with her sword again, dealing more damage. Awkward's health drops from 19 down to 11. Malefio ends his turn as a giant airhorn comes out of the meme card, blasting at him so powerfully, he is thrown backward and takes damage, lowering his health from 15 to 10. Awkward draws a card.

Hold on, hold on.
Since the effects of War Cry have passed already since your last turn, I can play Ability Cards now.
So after Balynka's attack, I will play this in response.
Ice Dust
Effect: This card can only be activated when an enemy is attacking. Deal two damage to all enemy cards and freeze them in place so they can't attack anymore this turn.
But since the attack was prevented, Lucas has no attack to reflect, and you'd have no reason to use Fog Bomb, so you keep that card.

It looks like your attacks were negated, Malefio. Lucas scatters ice dust around the field as both Balynka and Mia are frozen. They are damaged and can't move as your turn ends and you're hit by the airhorn. It is Awkward's turn.

Okay!
I play a Character Card...
Bio Spark
Health: 3
Attack: 4
Special Effect: When initiating battle, Bio Spark does not take damage.
...And use Bio Spark to attack Mia. Because of Bio Spark's effect, Mia's counterattack is negated.
And then Lucas, with his 5 Attack, attacks Balynka.
At the end of the turn, I wish to activate my ability Working Man as well, to draw 2 cards from the discard pile and 2 cards from the deck.

Awkward summons Bio Spark as he appears on the field in front of him. Bio Spark attacks Mia as she activates Vantage to go first, but he disappears. She can't see him and is hit from behind by a shuriken. She and Virus are destroyed. Lucas then casts PK Love to destroy Balynka. Awkward then summons a Forklift forth as it picks up two cards from his discard and draw piles and gives it to him. Awkward's turn ends and Malefio draws a card.
