"Stay close to me. I can protect you from the monsters, Raine." Laura and Raine run off as well. The group follows behind.
When they reach the open fields full of flowers, it's a beautiful sight to see. Many colors of flowers wave in the breeze and petals flutter about in the wind. It feels like you're practically in another area. You don't get to enjoy it for long though. In a short amount of time you are suddenly set upon by a hoard of monsters.

Julia runs into the battle, stays behind and uses Concentration shot on the Giant Beetle. The fact there's only one must mean he's more powerful. 3 chance to paralyze him seems like a good idea.

'why am i doing this? It makes no sense. I barely know these people why am i saving bear bait for them? They are like sheep if a Shepard made them jump off a cliff. They know exactly what they are walking into which begs the question..WHY AM I STILL HERE!'

The Giant Beetle stands in front of the monster hoard. Tom shoots at one of the Petalbirds, but the beetle gets hit instead, blocking the attack. "So he can protect his allies." Tab throws his paper while Rix throws his gears, but the beetle blocks both attacks. Julia takes out her spore gun and shoots it at the Giant Beetle three times, inflicting paralysis. Morgan then prepares her weapon and shoots the beetle seven times before it falls over, defeated. "We'll need a better way to kill those in the future."
The Tangleroses try to whip the group, but Laura runs to the front with her shields up to defend. The Petalbirds attempt to shoot beams of light at everyone as well, but Laura manages to block those too. "Don't worry, I got ya!" Karl is trying to feed his pop tarts to people, but nobody seems to be eating them.
"U-Um...I'll eat one if it makes you happy." Raine offers to eat one of Karl's pop tarts for him.

Karl gives her a pop-tart. Sadly (?), it is the pop-tart that he put his key in. He tries to dodge all upcoming attacks after that.

(His Soul Key...? Interesting turn of events.)
Tom shoots at one of the Petalbirds, knocking it out of the sky followed by Tab throwing a paper at another one. Julia analyzes the last Petalbird carefully. It's a plant that uses light element attacks. They can drop down petal bombs, but are fragile and die easily. Rix crashes gears into a Tanglerose, slashing it and throwing it back as well. Morgan rains down bullets on all her enemies as the other Petalbird falls out of the sky. Laura runs to the front and starts to block attacks while Karl gives his pop tart to Raine. He then realizes he accidentally just gave her his key! Karl's powers disappear and he returns to being his normal self. Raine then suddenly transforms while the pop tart explodes and the Soul Key is released. Raine is wearing a green and white dress with red roses on it and she has gained a wooden watering can. "What...?" She spills water from the can into the ground as giant vines sprout up suddenly and violently, smashing into all enemies, defeating them. "Did I do that...?"
"Did she get a Soul Key!?"
"Look out! More monsters." Tom shoots at one of the incoming monsters as soldiers made of solar energy and wearing armor made of flowers approach. "People...?" They hold out their hands and shoot a light beam at the group. "...! Not people. Monsters."
