Tab: "Everyone's pessimistic these days... Look, I'm fully aware of the situation right now, and I won't lie. I know we've got plenty of chaos to spread between us all in our group. Things have not been going well at all recently. Everyone's been fighting, and we've hit something scarily close to a worst case scenario. But that doesn't suddenly give us permission to give up! We've got an innocent person stranded in the other world, and now two of our friends are stuck there too. We've been making great progress, Tom. A large chunk of our group's been reunited again with no strife, but we need a lot more help before we can go rescue our friends. Unless you're fine with leaving Lance, Julia, and Laura in the other world."

Julia meets up with Tom, finding him waiting at the cafe. He sits casually and laid back in his chair with the usual black coffee. You grab some coffee as well and take a sip. Regardless of the bitterness, you have the courage to drink it without flinching.

As for what's new... Well, I adopted a Degu. I might bring it to the party tonight. I couldn't really take care of her because of all the shenanigans. I called her Pwipwi.
She has to stay in a cage, since she's a small rodent, but it puts life in my empty house."
