The Mall

Tab nods. "...Get her back, Somnis."

Use Carrier, pick up Somnis and drive her towards Lisa.

"Tab...Get me closer to Lisa."

Tab nods. "...Get her back, Somnis."

Somnis hops onto Tab's scooter while the Holo Tortoise lets out another loud roar. As it opens its mouth, a large beam of energy fires from it. However, Dogachu leaps in front of Somnis and Tab, taking the hit instead. Mattea runs in by Dogachu's side and looks to Somnis. "Go on, we'll keep this thing busy! Save Lisa!"

Tab drives along, avoiding holo cubes getting launched toward him along with beams shot from the tortoise. As they approach Lisa, Somnis leaps off of the scooter and flies directly at Lisa. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The two fly right off the tortoise as Somnis crashes into her. Holding Lisa in her arms, Somnis looks at her face.

"...!?" Lisa seems to be shocked and so does whatever's controlling her.

"Lisa! You have to listen to me! You aren't a bad person! You make me happy! You've given me so much more than you realize!" The both of them almost seem to fall in slow motion. The holo screen in the sky seems to shift images, showing Somnis and Lisa standing together, facing off against a giant sludge dragon in a dark and foggy swamp. "Ever since that day in the other world, my life has been changed forever! That was the day I first really got to know you! You flew in from the sky to rescue me. And we stood together to fight that dragon! Since that day we've been going to the other world together, trying to solve this mystery!" The screen changes to show Lisa and Somnis in the other world, at what looks like a festival. Monsters are singing and dancing and Somnis can be seen dancing with Lisa and having a good time. It changes from there to show the two of them looking out over the sun rising as they talk to each other. "And I'm really glad that day came! This adventure with you is more than I ever could have asked for! You became my first real friend when I had nobody. You were always there for me and stayed by my side!" The screen continues to show various other memories of Somnis and Lisa. One where Lisa is escorting Somnis off of the mall grounds with an annoyed expression, one where Lisa and Somnis are playing what looks like a fighting game together, one where Lisa confesses her love to Somnis and the two hug each other, one where the two of them walk in the rain together under one umbrella, and finally, a memory where Lisa stands to protect Somnis from Morgan attacking her. "You've always protected me and helped me learn how to make friends. I wasn't very good at it before, but I owe everything to you, Lisa! If it weren't for that day I met you, I wouldn't have any of this. You gave me one of the most important gifts ever. Love. My entire life has become what it is today because of that love."

"...Som...nis...?" The red holo armor seems to shatter away from Lisa and the holo tortoise disappears slowly. Lisa's eyes return to normal and she's wearing her normal clothes again. "Somnis...I'm sorry. I've been pretty dumb, haven't I? We're a team that sticks together no matter what. You and me! How could I forget that? No matter what may happen, I'll always be there for you and you'll always be there for me. We'll work together through anything life throws at us."

"Lisa! You're back! Don't leave me this time, okay...?"

"Never again."



The true potential within has finally been released. Somnis and Lisa have forged an unbreakable bond that will never be forgotten.

Somnis and Lisa achieve relationship rank 10!

The two land together softly on their feet, surrounded in a light. Somnis looks around, confused for a moment. "What...? What is this?"

Lisa smiles. "This is what I felt that day we first met. The light inside you, Somnis. It's something special. I always knew it was. And it's something that I'll treasure forever. You have a spark of hope within you. That's what saved me from myself. Your light showed the way back."

The darkness surrounding the area fades away and the mall seems to be put back together as if there was never a fight. Perhaps you were within the other world this entire time...

Lisa has unlocked her hidden potential and gained access to her special summon, Holo Tortoise.

"Ugh, fine. We'll go to that Sushi place on the second floor. The food at least looked edible when I passed by it." Tai groans and rolls his eyes.


"You guys need to grow a pair and make some of your own damn decisions, like fuck. Well whatever let's go. We'll hit the Ice Cream near the fountain after. It's fucking amazing."

I don't want to interrupt their date... uh...
Natsumi will do what she actually came here to do. Find a cute skirt for the date tomorrow. Then... uh... Head to the cafe, find a quiet corner with that stuff Tom recommended, and study a bit.

Tai

You head over to the ice cream place with Jimmy and Buttons. You all take a seat and eat it there. Jimmy looks like he's surprised for some reason. Like, really surprised. Shocked even. Buttons gives him a questioning look. "...You really like the ice cream that much...?"

"Huh? No, I was just surprised that I made it this long without messing something up! I thought I'd drop the ice cream or something. I'm getting better I guess..."

"I see. Your curse must be lifting."

"C-Curse!?"

"Yeah, there's no doubt the source of your bad luck is a curse. It's unnatural for someone to be that unlucky."

"Wait, really!? Tai, am I cursed!?"

Robbie

Lance smiles. "Yeah, I guess you're right."

Avel nods. "Well, that makes enough sense to me."

"So how have things been for you, Robbie? You know, outside of the other world and soccer?"

Natsumi

You head to the cafe after doing some shopping and order the coffee Tom recommended. Whoa, it's really bitter. But you continue to drink it anyway despite the taste.

As you sit there, you overhear a nearby conversation. It's those guys from the soccer field today.

"Well, that makes enough sense to me."

"So how have things been for you, Robbie? You know, outside of the other world and soccer?"

Tai stops in between a lick of his ice cream, saying a relaxed and casual tone, "Yup, for sure."

After taking a few more licks, he sits up from his slouching posiion and elaborates.

"Luck doesn't exist, but curses do. Trust me on that... I'm somewhat of an expert." Tai looks away, his face a bit solemn.

He shakes his head and continues eating his ice cream.
