Tai peruses the menu. He orders some sushi with an ice crram on the side.
He stares at Natsumi while waiting for his food.
"So... do anything... interesting lately?" He asks boredly.

"I tailed some soccer team members because they were talking about suspicious things, then saw them meet with about a bunch of other people from our school and start talking about making weapons, then they all jumped in the river and disappeared," Natsumi says casually. "I thought I was crazy, but then I found one of them had dropped this." She waves Foxes phone, then puts it back in her pocket. "Poor kid. He seems to be mixed up in something dangerous. I was going to invite you back to my place for dinner, but now I have to return his phone and deal with that. Hm. You're free to join me for that. And you could help me gather some information."

"Wow, that's... unexpected. I was expecting some lame and stupid story coming from you, but that's... interrsting. Do you think it could be something occult? A secret society maybe?" Tai noticeable perks up at the notion of a mystery. Especially one that might have supernatural elements.
He leans over the table. "Yeah, I'm going. Don't think this makes friends or anything though."

"Huh. I'm honestly surprised you believed me and agreed so readily. Not that I was going to let you say no, I just thought I'd have to try to bribe you or something..." Natsumi shrugs. "Oh, well. We're not meeting the bouncy-ball-person until 6, so let's head to the movies. I suggested we see whatever this year's big Halloween horror movie is - it's probably worth a few laughs - but is there anything else you'd prefer?"

He's rude throughout the movie, calling every plot twist before it happens and making a show of things. Nearly getting them kicked out.
