Just uses Fox to light up the mouse hole. There seems to be a keyhole at the back of the hole and the mouse's tail is shaped like a key.

Take out Cream from the orb too. Tails and Cream will fly up to the slim hole again while they each hold one of Awkward's legs. Then Awkward will hack at the slim hole with the sword to make it wider while upside down.

Paul leads everyone to the underground Pyramid, without any further problems. You enter the pyramid.
Of course there's sand all over the ground. There's a stone door at the back of the room. This entrance room is filled with pillars. There's a stone door in rubble to the left and an opening to the right, with no door.

Awkward tries to make the thin hole bigger, without any success. Maybe he could actually go to the other side by the human-sized hole on the ground level?
Mouse: "Give me some giant cheese! I want to taste it!"
