Kendra: "The Guard? I was going exactly there. He's protecting the Prison for Evil villains... I was going there to free them. We just have to go there, we'll find him!"
Lackoftime: "No PEASANT can hurt me. They will ALL be EXTERMINATED!"
Lackoftime makes his way to the tavern.
The shadows runs everywhere, inside the building.
You're left with your personal shadow and Kendra. She leads you towards the Prison for evil villains. On the way, you are stopped by multiple guards. The first one is some kind of dog in a big armor. The second one is a recognizeable figure in green: Link. The third one is a knight with a shield and a lance, he has lion symbols on his golden armor. The last one has his body entirely covered by armor, you can only see his eyes. He speaks.
The Guard: "STOP RIGHT THERE! You are way too calm for the situation at hand and are walking aside the woman with white hair. I assume you are the cause of all this. I don't you who you are or why you are doing this, but this is completely unnaceptable. Your murderous actions will be punished. You will be imprisoned for all eternity.
We are the protector of this city.
YOU WILL FAIL!"
He unsheates his sword, while the others unsheate their weapons too.

"You are a mistake created from a forgotten world. My victory is already assured." Mark snaps his fingers as the egyptian gods appear. "Destroy this city, my darlings. I will handle The Guard the old fashioned way." Phantom Kitty appears from the sphere. "Familiar, no? The fighter that belongs to a traitor. Just like you will be. Kendra, would you like to show the dog what we do to armored enemies?" Have her shoot a spectral beam at the dogs armor to crush it with its own equipment. Kitty will handle lion knight and Link. Have her dash around them to avoid attacks and then freeze their feet in place so they cannot move. Mark will deal with The Guard himself. Equip the shadow shoes and wings. We're going to bait The Guard's attacks and then dodge them. While we're dodging, weaken The Guard's mind with Lame Feeling, Depression, Bad Headache, Left Out Feeling, and Distress. I'm kinda glad Awkward gave me all of his negative emotions to unleash on my enemies for mental havoc.

I forgot about Shadow. He will simply hide in the shadows until it is time for him to come out.

(The "lion knight" is a human, he just has lion symbols on his armor and the banner on his lance)
The shadow hides in Mark's shadow as he tries to bait The Guard into attacking. He seems on the defensive, waiting for Mark to attack. Mark sends a bunch of negative emotions at him, but feels that it's not working. Mark summons the egyptian gods and they start rampaging the town.
Kendra sends spectral energy into Greater Dog's armor.
Phantom Kitty dashes around her two enemies as they look for an opportunity to hit her. She freezes their feet in place. Link retaliates with Din's fire. It hits Mark, Kitty and Kendra, unfreezing the feet. Kitty takes double damage and Kendra's move is cancelled.
Kendra giggles: "I don't mind you hurting me... I LIKE IT! What you don't do though is... HURT MY PRINCE CHARMING!!!!!"

"Very well." Limit Break! Activate fully heal all allies and increase everyone's stats while dispelling any status issues. While they are blinded by the light, Shadow possesses Link. Have Link get into a distracting sword fight with The Guard. Kendra shoot the Guard's many weapons and bring them to life, having them attack our enemies. Kitty freezes the ground to make the Knights trip if they move.
Meanwhile, Ra flies through the town, tearing it up with its claws. Slifer sends a beam through the entire town, causing explosions throughout. Obelisk will pick up entire buildings and throw them around.

How is the army doing with seizing the town? I know there's a lot of characters here so did someone important try to get in the way yet?

I don't have my list on me, but they encountered resistance for sure.
You can't know what they're doing since they are not playable though.
Know that Lackoftime can definitely handle himself.

A blinding light comes out of Mark, as the shadow jumps inside Link. Mark's party is fully healed. As the light disappears, The Guard is blocking Link's swords with his bare hands, as an uncountable amount of swords, from all colors and shapes, are circling about Kendra.
Kendra: "Ohohohohohoho! What is this? I only sent energy in on sword! This is amazing!"
She seems too fascinated to do anything...
Kitty freezes the ground, making the knight fall, while Greater Dog runs on it like normal, trampling Kitty.
---Obelisk---
Obelisk start rampaging through the town. He's about to grab a building, as it comes out of the ground by itself, revealing that part of it was underground. The building transforms into a mecha, as big as Obelisk.
??: "You tried to grab the wrong building bub..."
??: "YOU ATTACK OUR CITY, YOU DIE!"
??: "We're Team Mercenary Blue and we never fail."
??: "Everyone is ready? Let's go!"
The mecha grabs two giant swords from it's back.
---Ra---
Ra starts flying, tearing up building with his claws. He is quickly bothered by 4 spaceships.
One of them is orange and has a circular shape. It has no apparent weapons. The second is blue and has an aerodynamic shape. It has some ordinary sized laser cannons in the front. The third one is grey and has some sort of horn in the front... The ship seems to be coated with some sort of rock It has some weirdly shaped cannons. The fourth one is yellow and bigger. It has no apparent weapon either.
---Slifer---
Slifer runs through town, shooting beams everywhere. There's suddenly a man standing in front of him. He doesn't seem really confident.
Lord Gale: "Huh... Huh... Will you fight my Pokemon you savage beast?"
He grabs a Pokeball from his belt and throws it.
Lord Gale: "Amazing! Go!"
A rapidash comes out of the pokeball.

(It looks like I've run into quite a few enemies. Let's see what I can do.)
---Mark---
"It's time." Run around them fast enough to create a tornado/powerful burst of wind to launch them into the sky. While they are stuck in the sky, Shadow will escape from Link as Kitty combines her ice powers with the tornado to make a hailstorm tornado while Kendra follows with a storm of blades. Don't kill them though. Let them fall down from the sky and approach for their attacks before Banning each of them. I won't be fighting alone for long. During all of this, also summon Ezio and have him run off under cover. Look around to see what enemies he can see. I'm going to have him work as my assassin in the shadows and stealthily pick off enemies.
---Obelisk---
Wait for the right moment and when they strike with their swords, grab them. (I don't think it matters if he grabs the sword end. I think Obelisk is made of stone anyway?) Take the swords and jam them right back into the enemy. Aim for the control center area.
---Ra---
Ra takes a defensive position, covering itself with its wings to block out attacks. Once the barrage is over, spread out the wings and cause a blast of solar energy to fly out for some minor damage in a dome shape.
---Slifer---
Slifer looks at the trainer and then sends one of its white beams of destructive energy into the trainer instead of the Pokemon. (These are the bad guys. We don't play by the rules, trainer.)
I feel kind of bad blowing up the trainer and not his Pokemon. I would have definitely actually fought him fairly if I was playing as myself instead of Mark though.

I forgot to summon Qall and Virus as well. Or did I already do that...? We should have them at the ready. Fuzz and Yoshi said they were in the town SOMEWHERE so I need Virus to be ready to take control of Lupis or Yoshi's partner (Pixy I think). Qall also should be in position to claim victory once our allies are finished with their battles or have at least weakened their opponents enough.

Mark runs around the enemy, while Kendra assaults them with a bunch of swords, each with their own flashy effects, while laughing maniacally. Being overwhelmed, the enemies doesn't stop Mark, as he sendd them in the air and let the fall down for Kitty to freeze.
Mark bans Greater Dog, Miller Shepperd and Link, but it seems this ability doesn't work with The Guard... He actually seems still in good shape.
---Ezio---
Ezio is summoned, turns around and is face to face to a bunch of Boo Buddies.
---Obelisk---
The mecha strikes with it's two swords, which Obelisk blocks.
??: "Bad move bub!"
As he's holding the swords, a plasma shield is activated on the mech, as a huge missile comes out of it's mouth, exploding right in Obelisk's face, pushing him back.
??: "We told you. Team Mercenary Blue always wins!"
The plasma shield is deactivated after the explosion is cleared.
---Ra---
Ra covers himself with his wings, limiting damage from a drop of bombs, some electric beams and even an axe launcher. The Yellow Ship uses a tractor beam, forming a ball of debris under itself. Ra unleashes solar energy, damaging three of the ships lightly and the blue one decently.
---Slifer---
Slifer shoots a beam of energy at the trainer, but Amazing is fast enough to run and take the hit. It survives, but already seems in bad shape.
Lord Gale: "OH! You want to play it this way? Here we go!"
The trainer sends a Probopass, Gallade, Togekiss, Gengar and Lanturn out all at the same time.

"The Guard is stronger than I thought. Keep him busy." Kendra should go all out with the swords. Don't hold back this time. Kitty creates an ice golem to battle with The Guard and keep him busy so he can't fight us. Shadow will escape Link and go back into hiding. Now it's time for the fun part. This Edit ability definitely came in more handy than I thought it would. We're going to make these three into powerful allies. Activate Edit. Change Link into Merciless Deity Link. We're going to make it so he is always Fierce Deity Link, but with some minor changes. To differentiate from the real Fierce Deity Link, make the Triforce of Courage appear upside down on his hand and change Link himself to be my loyal servant. For the dog, I have something fun planned. Make him gigantic and give him three heads, turning his fur black and giving him new armor to match his size. Cerberus, the dog from hell. Finally, the mysterious lion guard. Change his armor to be night black and be capable of camouflaging with its surroundings so he can be invisible. Night Lion, a powerful and stealthy opponent. All three will become my faithful servants. The Guard is next.
---Ezio---
Lose their trail and then follow them from the shadows. There's one person I know that uses Boo Buddies as their signature allies. They'll lead us right to Yoshi.
---Obelisk---
Very well. Let's see how you like this. No holding back. Punch the ground to send a powerful wave of rocks launching upward beneath the robot to knock it over while Obelisk jumps up in the air and smashes his fists and giant body into the knocked over robot. Be careful not to land on the swords.
---Ra---
Not bad. But we can't repeat the same tactic twice. Switch to Defense Mode. Bide their attacks as long as possible. Then reflect it back at them.
---Slifer---
You asked for it. Their biggest burden is protecting their master. So we'll use that. Slifer will take flight high up while smashing his unbelievably long tail into the ground to send rocks and debris flying all over the enemies below, hopefully blinding them like a Sand Attack. Then nosedive toward the trainer while charging up a light beam, unleashing it once impacting into one of his Pokemon expectedly guarding to launch the Pokemon into its trainer.

A giant purple beam fell down from the sky at the new spawn point in the ruins. The sky over Central Town is now purple.
