Coconut Island

The captain motions toward the pirates. They unbind Lance from the ropes and kick him off the ship onto the beach. They then tie up Julia and take her in. She doesn't get a chance to see what happened to Laura and Lance, but hopefully the pirates kept their word. Julia's items and phone are taken away by the pirates and she is thrown into a cell below deck. The boat creaks slowly as it moves.

You can do things if you want. Eventually they'll transfer you to a different cell at their base.

Julia looks around the cell. It's made entirely of wood. There are no windows. It sounds like you're under sea level. There's a candle in the cell and a ragged, old bed. Two pirates stand at either end of the cell, watching over it. They're each equipped with a sword and a gun. They don't seem to be paying too much attention to Julia at the moment.

I'll let you use your Knowledge level to investigate something, but your skills are linked to your Soul Keys.

Julia

You attempt to set fire to the walls, but it doesn't seem to be working. These candles...are electronic. As Julia stops trying to burn away the walls, two pirates come walking into her cell. "Alright, come with us. We're taking you somewhere nice and comfy." Julia is tied up again and carried off to another room while blindfolded. She's placed into somewhere that feels colder. When the blindfold is removed, she can clearly see that she's inside some sort of important room. A glowing, blue light is stored safely inside. All around, it looks like Julia is inside a glass dome underwater. She can see coral and fish outside of the glass. The door out of here is locked. It looks like Julia has a sleeping bag, the mysterious, blue object, and a small crate to work with in here.

Everyone Else

Everyone heads in the portal over to Coconut Island. The party consists of Tab, Rix, Karl, Morgan, Robbie, Tom, Alice, Fox, and Raine. They all see Laura and Lance close toward the entrance at what looks to be a campsite. "You guys made it. Thank goodness. It felt like you'd never come." Laura gives everyone a big hug.

"I don't know what's going on here, but that girl might be in trouble. She took my place on that pirate ship. They probably got her locked up too. We have to do something." Lance stands there holding a Soul Key. "Laura gave me this. We've been using them to survive so far. There are a lot of crazy monsters here...so we have to help that girl."

Tab: "So it must be... a hostage situation? That's the only reason they'd be fine with switching out Lance for Julia. That has to be it, right?"
