(If you only had a few friends and one of them was in danger with you and a few others being the only ones that could save him but those others seemingly not caring and telling you that you shouldn't try to save him, would you want to sit around and learn every tiny detail of the world or would you want to save your friend before something bad happened? There's also the fact that most of them weren't so much saying he needed to learn how the world worked so much as they were telling him to go home, and frankly it's rather hypocritical of you to try and guilt trip me when you were the one offerring empty words of support right up until it became apparent that the argument wasn't going to be settled with words and then promptly turned on me because your friends that are perfectly fine are more important than my friend that's in danger.)

(Well its important to learn everything about a strange and magical world especially when we are basically going to take on the area boss. From our prospective we were looking out for Robbie because clearly he wasn't thinking straight. We were like hey can you just. Are we allowed to think about what's going on before you and Avil go and get yourself killed. Case in point Mally is in trouble now but do you see Morgan wanting to run around like a headless chicken. No she is talking with everyone and coming up with a plan. As far as stabbing you in the back well unfortunately that whole argument basically became pick a god.... and side and pray. So Morgan was forced between siding with some reckless noobs or her close friends. It came down to siding with her friends. Now Morgans friend is in danger because apperantly pirates are reasonable go figure. Even though I really just went to the world during that argument just to see if Otterwott could tell me anything about the pirates. But nnnnnoooooo.) (Umm where were we again oh Wark Wark Julia is in danger run around and kick everything)

Julia picks up the crate and throws it at the soul floating around with a little difficulty. The crate is kind of heavy. As she throws the crate, it flies past the soul and crashes into the wall on the other side of the room. It looks like it broke open a little. Maybe you can wrench it open...

Julia will look in the hole first, then see if her hand can fit through to grab whats inside.
Otherwise, she'll stomp on the hole trying to make it bigger.

Julia reaches her hand into the opening and tries her best to pull it apart and open it. The crate creaks and bends slightly. She can fit her arm in further. Reaching in, she grabs something and pulls it out. It looks like a...book? Opening it, it looks like some sort of journal. Did this belong to someone else that was here...?

Julia begins to read the journal.
Day 01
This new world I've stumbled across looks so fascinating. Creatures I've never imagined would exist can be found here. Otters that can control the waves, palm trees that walk around and act like animals, and even heart shaped fish in the sea. From my studies, these animals can be used as valuable resources. They're great sources of nutrition and their furs and scales are stronger than any metals I've ever seen.
Day 02
This world is beautiful, but dangerous as well. Today, while we were exploring, one of the scientists were eaten alive by a giant shark. We will begin researching a way to make humans stronger in this world. Maybe we can rival the monsters here. If we could find a way to control the energy in this place...
The pages after are torn and worn. Julia starts again at the next visible page.
Day 09
We have finally found a way to tap into the energy. We call it "Soul Key". A mysterious piece of technology that uses the power of the Elemental Souls. It seems to reflect the personality of the person wearing it. Our research will continue.
...The next few pages are red. It's impossible to read them all. Julia finds a certain passage that is still readable.

Julia touches the soul. Her hand goes right through it. But it seems to pulse a bit as she places her hand through it. It isn't being absorbed by her like Fox though. Maybe he's the only one that can do that...
