Clyde, Snorx, Buby, and Charcoal all head off toward Craggy Coast, finding that the rocky path goes along the side of a cliff. Water splashes below. The group continues onward. Hopefully the Skiddo here would be alright. It doesn't take long for them to run into some Shadow Pokemon. Three Shadow Geodudes block the way forward.

I think I removed Tackle, since Chip Away is a more powerful normal attacking move

Clyde shrinks down to tiny size and hides behind his allies. Charcoal creates a Smokescreen to make it so the Geodudes can't see. Snorx runs up to one of the Geodudes and licks it, tasting what rock tastes like. It tastes like dirt. The Geodude looks like it's paralyzed. Buby launches a Water Gun into another Geodude, knocking it out quickly. Clyde feels a thrown rock swish past him, just barely missing due to his tinyness.

Clyde will land an Astonish on the non-paralyzed Geodude.

Not very effective Chip Away on the paralyzed Geodude if STAB bonuses are a thing in this game.
Another Lick if STAB is not taken into account.

Clyde suddenly appears behind the non paralyzed Geodude and tackles it from behind, surprising it. The Geodude flinches before Buby blasts it with Water Gun and takes it down. Snorx uses Chip Away on the other Geodude, punching it. It doesn't seem to be very effective. Charcoal follows up by breathing fire into the Geodude. It still stands, but Charcoal finishes the fight with another blast of fire.
Buby reaches level 9!
Buby can learn the move Encore, but must forget a move.

Water Gun
Encore
The party moves onward and finds a group of three Krabby wandering around. It looks they haven't noticed the group, so they can try to sneak past if they want.
