Mike performs a distracting dance, causing the Demonboar to dance along as well. Then while it's distracted, he begins to spin around rapidly as a small tornado forms around him. Mike spins into the Demonboar, damaging it and knocking it backward. The Demonboar manages to get back on its feet, but looks weak. It charges into Mike, damaging him a little, but he notices he took no real bodily harm. The Tuner Bracelet will protect you from damage from attacks until you've been damaged badly enough for it to break. Be careful not to let it break or you'll lose the attuned song and won't get a Soul Link!

Mike finishes the Demonboar off with another spinning attack. He seems to be getting sort of used to this. There are other Demonboars wandering around as well. Maybe if he defeats them too, the Soul Link will be complete.

Mike uses his spinning ability, bouncing between both of the Demonboars like a pinball. This way lets him hit both of them multiple times and he defeats both Demonboars with only one spin! He defeated three Demonboars! That should be enough to turn in his assignment. Professor Violetta should be waiting at the academy for results.

Carla's airship lands and she hops off in the middle of the large and wide open plains. Demonboars can be seen wandering around all over the place. None of them have noticed you're here yet. Now might be a good chance to get in a first strike and test out just how well you can use your skills.

Carla sneaks up behind one of the Demonboars before creating a giant hammer of song notes in her hands. She then swings it as strong as she can into the Demonboar, launching it high in the sky. Looks like Team Demonboar is blasting off again. That counts as beating it, right? Two more to go!

Carla sprays the ground around two nearby Demonboars with fruit juice, causing them to slip all over the place. While one falls over, she quickly smacks it with her hammer, launching it into the sky just like the other. Just one more to go! The other Demonboar she was fighting unexpectedly charges into her from behind! Carla is knocked backward, away from it. She doesn't feel hurt and a strange barrier must have protected her. But her Soul Link gem looks a little scratched. It seems like it took the hit for you. If you get hit too much, it might break apart! Better finish up with this last boar!
