Gray and Zuri go to the cafeteria. There's some familiar faces and some new ones.
Shwarz is eating with Lucy, one of the second year students.
Charon, Mistry and Herus are all eating together. Coralia joined them.
Morado and Strawberry, two of your teachers are discussing on a table.
There's four students you don't recognize. You think they're not in your classes. They all are sit at the same table, so they must be a team. One of them has yellow eyes, brick-colored hair. He's wearing a yellow turban, a white breast plate and some ordinary looking pants. There's a girl with white iris, making her eyes completely white. She's wearing a straw hat and a checkered coat with straw sticking out of the sleeves. She seems to have a blade of grass in her mouth. The third team member is a buffalo faunus, apparent thanks to her horns. She's quite imposing thanks to her toreador outfit, despite her short pink hair. Last person is a faunus with eagle claws at the end of his hands. He's dressed in an all-black cowboy outfit, including the hat and the boots.
Hunter, Glendova and Cinnabre are eating together.
Lav is sitting alone at a table. Same thing for Resa.
There's also some free spots to eat alone.

Glen has long-since abandoned the staring contest and is much, much more interested in eating her fish flakes. Er, cereal. Which she is eating like a vacuum cleaner.
Cinnabre occasionally takes a bite while very pointedly trying not to stare, after he realized he was in the first place. "So, uh... Hm... Do you... like being a faunus? What's that like?"

"Sum peele fin wea fweas," Glendova says through a mouthful of food. She pauses and swallows before she continues. "But some people think we're cool, I guess. Mostly the people that work with us like us. We usually try to keep to ourselves."
Cinnabre seems to be lost in thought as he keeps poking at his food. "Huh. So... do you... uh... hm. What's... your... favorite food?"
"Shrimp," Glendova says immediately. "No, octopus. Oh. Shrimp-stuffed octopus."

After going to the cafeteria to eat breakfast, Oceania looks at her watch.
Oceania: "Well everyone, time for class."
Mortimer: "N... No..."
Melyn drags a stressed Mortimer all the way back to the arena, following behind a seemingly confident Joanne.
---GAAZ---
Anubis stops looking at the horizon. Simply by the height of the sun, he can tell it's almost time. He makes his way to the arena.
Gray and Zuri makes their way to the arena. Zuri's excitement is definitely apparent.
Zuri: "We'll see everyone's cool moves! It's gonna be awesome!"
When Anubis, Gray and Zuri make it to the arena, they see that Balynka was already there, practicing on dummies. She seems quite... brutal. As she looks at time enter, she goes sit on the platform with the other, without saying a word.

After eating breakfast in their dorm, team RLJS gets ready for combat training.
Rachel makes sure that her sickles' transformation works well, Lilla jumps in excitement on the way to the arena and Scarlet takes her unknown medication.

After eating alone, Resa makes it to the arena. The rest of her team are already there. Carmine seems stressed, while Topaz tries to calm him down. Shwarz seems completely relaxed.
---FACE---
After running all day, Aka and Castanho make it to the arena. Aka is a bit exausted of running for hours, but Castanho seems completely fine. Platin enters the arena after them, seeming quite confident. Fuschia rolls in on her rollerskates and takes place, humming playfully.
---LLLM---
Lav's team joined him eventually for breakfast. They all went to the arena together. Lotus doesn't seem to be taking this seriously, making puns on the way. Leaf calibrates her sniper rifle, pointing out that fighting in an arena is not really her strenght. Milton definitely seems ready.
---CCHG---
After breakfast, Coralia joins her team. She's definitely not in a serious mood, but you already know everything's a joke for her. The team makes it to the arena.
---Everyone---
As everyone takes place on the platform, the teacher comes in. It's the headmaster's assistant, Zaphiro. He swings his orange kimono dramatically, before addressing the class, passing one of his hand in his bright blue hair.
Zaphiro: "Alright everyone, I am Zaphiro Summer. Your combat instructor. I really hope you're all ready. Cause I'm evaluating your combat skills today. EVERYONE WILL FIGHT. I want to see what every last one of you is capable of."
Mortimer stress seems to augment after those words.
Zaphiro: "Now, this is an evaluation, not an exam. After today's class, I will be telling you your strenghts and tour weaknesses. Don't slack off. I want to see you all at your best.
Now, for the rules. No dust. It's a training, it would be a waste. You can use your weapon and semblance as you wish. You will all be paired up into duels. First one to have his aura depleted loses. DO NOT continue the fight when your opponent's aura is depleted. If you do, there will be consequences, including getting kicked out of the school. I want to be perfectly clear.
So yeah. Fight until one of you has no more aura, in which case I'll stop the fight.
Now for the pairs... You will decide the pairs yourselves. Pick a partner. Your partner must not be one of your teamates. You can fight your teamates for practice during your free time. I will now let you all place yourselves in pair. When everyone is paired, I will start the fights. Of course, it might be harder for some of you to pick an opponent. When everyone who wants a specific pair is in pair, I'll place the remaining students in matchups myself.
You have 10 minutes to pair yourselves."
The students start looking at each other, wondering who they should pick as their opponent.

"Let's see...should I go for the strongest or..." As Joanne looks around, her eyes lock onto Zuri. "Aha." She's going to walk over to him. "I didn't think I'd find you in this crowd. But I'm glad I did." She places one hand on his shoulder as she walks around him in a circle, inspecting him. "You've got the looks, but let's see what you're capable of."
Anubis stands in place, scanning the crowds with his eyes. Nobody in particular seems to catch his interest, however.
Hunter is going to try and avoid eye contact with everyone and shivers a bit when Anubis' eyes scan past him.

Melyn looks into the crowd, looking for the most aggressive looking person. She point at Balynka
Melyn: "YOU! YOU'LL BE MY OPPONENT!"
Balynka: "Okay."
Melyn smiles as the 7 foot tall student going to sit next to her in silence, waiting for the others to pick their opponents.

Glendova shrugs and walks over to the first person to meet her eyes: Rachel Turkis. "Hello. Let's fight."
Cinnabre looks around, a bit nervous. "OK... Hey, want to partner up?" he asks Scarlet.
