Goombario is suddenly launched into the distance until you don't see him anymore.
A portal appears, as well as a stand attended by M. You can swap equipment at the stand or move on through the portal.

You appear on some rooftops. There seems to be a showcase with some badges. A white mouse is inside, looking through the showcase. She seems excited.
Your opponent is on the rooftops with you. It's a pink Goomba. She seems to be made of paper.
Goombella: "I hope you're not afraid of heights, I have a HIGH number of knowledge."
M: "3...
2...
1...
GO!"

(Honestly, no matter what you did, this fight ended in one turn)
Some kind of energy comes out of you, into Goombella's book. A health bar appears above your head. It's full.
Goombella: "Yeah... No... I'm not fighting an orb holder..."
Goombella is launched until you lose sight of her. Portal opens.
(I assume you move on)
---STAGE 3: VS GLOMGLOM---
You appear in some kind of infinite plains. Your opponent is some kind of fat Goomba with a green hat.
Glomglom: "I... I'll do my best!"
M: "3...
2...
1...
GO!"

"Hey, Glomglom. Mind letting me pass by? I'll give you this delicious candy apple if you do." Equip the Dragon Wings and fly over Glom Glom's attacks this turn.

Glomglom charges towards you really slowly, as you dodge his attack.
Glomglom: "I need to do better than that!"
He eats a blue lollipop and seems hyperactive.

It's wrong to trap everyone in this endless fight for his entertainment." Toss the candy apple to him and switch out the wings for the Carbuncle Stone. Use a defensive light to block out physical attacks.

Glomglom is quickly tackling you, but you block it just in time with a loght barrier.

He goes back to his normal speed, then eats a lollipop. Glomglom has a red aura.

Equip the Shadow Shoes and step to the side to avoid attacks. Take out the dance simulator and have it play a lullaby while tossing the world's comfiest sweater on Glomglom like a blanket. Try singing him to sleep.
