You head to the large building's board and look at it. It looks like there's a few choices here. Tayce T. needs help with a new recipe, Toadsworth put up a request for some tea, and there's something on here about a little turtle dragon running around and being a general annoyance in town. Apparently he's been leaving graffiti around.

Toadsworth: Ah, yes! I did indeed put up a request for some tea. You see, my back hurts after those hooligans tossed me around. I heard that Turtley Tea helps to heal your back. Do you think you could do it? All you need to do is cook a Turtley Leaf.

Tulip hands Tayce T. the Turtley Leaf.
Tayce T.: Hmm hmm hmm~ La la laaa~
She takes the ingredient into her kitchen and you hear her boiling water. You then hear something that sounds like a hammer, a few eggs cracking, some dynamite exploding, and then a ding. She comes back out carrying a delicious cup of Turtley Tea!
Tayce T.: Here you go, dear. This should be just what your friend needs. Come back anytime!

As the party exits the warp pipe, they notice Dudley is screaming in the middle of the right side of town. As he does so, someone drops down from above in the sky on top of him. The Goomba lands on his feet after knocking Dudley over.

Goombella: Oh, Professor Frankly, there you are!
Frankly: What was that? Oh, yes, I have made it here safely. Errrmmm...what was your name again...? Don't tell me! I can think of it! Silence! Not a word! Errrmmmm...It wasn't Elizagoom...or Goombriel...ERRRRRMMMMM...I GOT IT. You're Goombella.
Goombella: Professor, we were at a party together only a few minutes ago.
Frankly: Well, my memory isn't quite what it used to be.
Mario waves to them from the warp pipe.
Goombella: Hey! Mario! You're okay too! It's good to see you made it out of that mess back at the castle.
Goldie: Hey, old mushroom dude, help us with this map!
Bloopington: What she means to say is that it would be a great help to us if you could decipher this map.
Frankly: FASCINATING. I will get to work on it immediately.

He hands Frankly the map and the mirror.

Mario falls over from Frankly's scream.
Frankly: It's blank.
Goldie: Well we knew THAT!
Bloopington: Is that...really just a blank map...?
Frankly: Well, you could always try to use the mirror like this at just the right angle while the sun is shining in the sky at this time and the planets are all aligned, disregarding Pluto...
Using the mirror, Frankly reveals the actual map, melting off a layer of wax with the sunlight.
Goldie: How does that even work!?
Frankly: WHAT'S THIS!? It appears that this mirror will give you access to this SP Gauge. I must teach you how to use this IMMEDIATELY!
Goldie: Nooooo! I hate tutorials!
Everyone in battle appears on a large stage with an audience sitting and watching them. It looks like the area they're in has turned into a set.
Goldie: WHAT IS HAPPENING!?
Goldie jumps into Roxanne's pocket and pokes her head out.
Goldie: When did these people get here...?
Bloopington and Mario wait offstage since there's not enough room for them to fight as well as everyone else on stage.
Frankly: Now, see that SP Gauge down there? In order to use the mirror, you'll need to fill it up. There's two ways to fill up your SP Gauge. The first is to perform a stylish move. I assume you're already familiar with that concept. Now, the third is to appeal to the crowd instead of attacking this turn. The more excited you make the crowd, the higher the SP Gauge will rise. Once you reach one full unit on the SP Gauge, you can unleash a special attack. Go ahead and practice raising your gauge.

You take on the job and get searching around town. Behind one of the buildings in the right side of town, you find graffiti of a mysterious looking M. It washes away pretty easily if you use water.
