This topic will move in the appropriate board when I create it at home. Story: Vitgem wasn't sucessful to revive SAO's creators' game so they deleted the game. Before Razaratan ceased to exist, he escaped into the Vitcon console M gave him, fusing many worlds together in the process. He now seems free of the death curse from the SAO game, therefore stopping him from having to be a villain... He's now stuck in a new game and is trying to summon heroes to try to help him fix the mess he made and find him a way to go home. Gameplay: Will have multiple story arcs where characters are trying to fix a world up. ---Sign-Up--- First character: (Has to be one of your Vitcon character. Pikmin Wars counts. Gamefaqs Paper Smash counts. I'm open to characters from CYOAverse or other gamefaqs RP even I didn't participate to them.) Description: (Optional, important if you want to give him a little something different from his game of origin) Powers: (Optional if you know I know your character) Rival: (Optional: you can pick one of my characters to be your rival. This is not a villain, just someone who's gonna try to be better than you and will be recurrent) Destined battle: (Optional: You can pick one of my characters. This will be a villain whose final battle will be against you alone.) Backstory: (Optional: Your character's reaction to worlds being fused) ---Character Database--- Here is my database if you want to pick up a rival or destined battle vitcon.boards.net/thread/1380/malefios-characters-database-2---More characters--- You can sign-up as many character as you want, but you will only start with your first character. Just one main character per player? Hmm, that sort of throws a wrench in plans to have two characters working together as a single unit (so treated like one character in battle and forced to stick together but still two different people as far as roleplaying goes), although considering that one of those characters hasn't even formally been introduced in a game yet (Cadence, the Popplio I had planned for PMD: L&S) and the other one was planned to work on the partner dynamic I had planned for them (Cinder) those plans were probably doomed from the start regardless. I'll need some time to figure out who I want to use instead...

Even if they aren't that way in source material? Alrighty then, cool.
Character(s): Cinder and Cadence (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon)
Description: Cinder looks exactly the same as he normally does, Cadence is just a normal Popplio.
Powers: He's a Fennekin, she's a Popplio, I'm sure you know what those two are capable of for the most part. I'll let you decide up to how high of a level they can use moves. Cinder can also use any wands he finds, can power up combo moves, and the two of them come with a combo move of their own (Steam Spray, a combination of fire and water which produces a scalding hot spray of steam to attack enemies).
Rival: None
Destined Battle: Looking through the list I don't really see anyone that stands out, although there's also several characters I don't know. Maybe a pair of villains that also work as a team, or perhaps one of the Pokémon like Gengar or Noctowl?
Backstory: Cinder was once a human lab assistant before being transported to another world and turned into a Fennekin. He became the leader of a group of other humans turned Pokémon known as Team Rising Sun, a position which would result in him meeting Cadence. Cadence is a Popplio with aspirations of becoming a performer and who joined the team out of gratitude for being saved. For a while things were going well, but when the worlds were fused together the two of them were seperated from the rest of Team Rising Sun. Since then they've been searching for their friends while also trying to discover why the worlds were brought together.

I'm laughing so hard, for some reasons I alwayd thought Cinder was a charmander...
With that said, I'll find an in-game reason for why your 2 Pokemon will share health.

No, that would be Char that's a Charmander. That's also why I don't have plans to evolve him as I'm not that big a fan of Braixen or Delphox and why I've tried to get wands for him as it fits thematically. On the subject of sharing health if you can't think of anything complex it could just be that with them standing right next to each other and being so small attacks generally hit both of them.

Alright, for your attacks, you have 3 choices:
1.Have all attacks the Pokemon can learn, not considering TMs
2.Always have the same 4 moves for the whole game, being able to be picked with TM
3.Only have 4 moves, but change these 4 moves between every worlds. Can be picked with TM

First character: Alpha Blacken (the Fallen)
Description: the only thing really different from the game of origin is that he ditched the mask in this world
Powers: you should already know Alpha since he is from one of your games, but just in case, he has a strong silver bow, a Quiver that holds infinite arrows, a set of wings that allows him to fly for a short time, and a small knife for close quarters combat
Rival: Galacta Knight(paper smash) because of the angel Motif
Destined battle: ehhhh ill let you decide on this one
Backstory: Alpha was an Angel who was tricked into selling his soul by Brick mac, a lunatic cultist, and sent to the world of humans, afterwards he became a Hero who fought crime under the Alias of "the Fallen", he eventually joined a super hero group called 'Peace bringers' who accepted him and helped him gain a new soul, when he finds out that the worlds are coming together he goes off on his own to find out the source.

Hmm... Looking through their level-up movepools there's actually not more than about four moves I'd want from each of them, and while the list of TMs available for Cinder is kind of meh Cadence gets access to Ice Beam and Scald this way. At the same time I don't want to be stuck with four moves for the whole game, so I'll go with changing in each world so that I can do some experimentation. This still gives me access to eight moves between them and plenty of good options without too much overlapping.

Y'know, I even remembered that Pie joined and planned to not include him while including Just, but I guess I mixed them up in the post. On the subject of Blood, I completely forgot he enrolled in the military. That's going to take some getting used to.

Alright, did a little something I call Pre-Game.
Currently, the pre-game topics are for your main characters, but if you sign-up temporary ones, they will have one too eventually.
The current pre-game is what happens before the game starts. They probably won't be over when the game start, but at least you'll know what happened to your character before being called by Razaratan.
