there is two gamemodes,
Normal mode: the regular Experience for newcomers
Expert mode: Harder game for a better reward
NPCs
There are many NPCs that will join your adventure, these guys can do stuff like sell you stuff, Heal you, Tell you how to make certain things, and More, in order to have an NPC move in, is that you need a suitable are for them to live in, you need atleast a big enough space with walls, a light source, a Chair or bed, and finally any kind of table.
Combat
ok while Regular terraria's focus was Exploration and building, here the focus will be on combat, where if you are not adding on to your base and splunking, you are fighting with a rather easy to use and basic combat system.
that is about everything.

How does summoner work?
Do they have a certain list of creatures/minions they can summon or do they summon enemies they have defeated?

How does summoner work? Do they have a certain list of creatures/minions they can summon or do they summon enemies they have defeated? baaically the same as other weapon classes where there are diffrent summoning 'weapons'. the kinds of creatures you can summon are restricted by the kinds of staves. an example is the slime staff where you can only summon up to 3 baby slimes(without any summoner armor or accessories). or the optical staff where you can summon miniature Twins

---If Solvit is cancelled---
Name: Kayla Lyptus Age: unspecified 20s Appearance: Long brown hair, brown eyes. Caucasian. Average height. Athletic. Wears a grey pullover and Jeans. Her shoes are black. She seems to wear a new hat everyday. If it's important, I guess she'll be particularly attractive. Class: Summoner Backstory: Managed to adopt a Koala, but it's probably irrelevant since the setting of the game is not her house. Kayla is a detective for an organization called "Solvit". During a really weird investigation she tripped and fell into some kind of portal, finding herself in this new world, the portal closing behind her. Thankfully, she appeared on a staff wh8ch gave her Summoner powers. Gamemode: Normal
---If Solvit is still going to happen---
Name: The Monster Age: Unknown Appearance: Unknown. Wear a long trench coat hiding his etire body amd a metal mask. Class: Summoner Backstory: The Monster is a terrible man. He first killed people in a world where everyone had their own guardian spirit, his being called Oblivion. He then travelled to the Pokemon world and started torturing Pokemon to harness their powers. He eventually got defeated and banished to another world, separating him from Oblivion. Without his companion, The Monster is stuck in the Terraria world with newfound summoning powers.

Normal if both characters are in the same world, Expert is they can't meet each other

ok how Expert works is that everyone can meet if they are on expert or normal, is is just that if they are on different modes they cannot participate in the same boss fight, it is done that so nobody on normal has the fight Expert mode Eye of Cthulhu which has a third phase only on expert mode, or anyone on expert has to fight easy bosses

Alright, Kayla on Normal and The Monster on Expert
I might create another character so he doesn't have to solo expert bosses though

Do mage use a specific element or have access to all of the elements included in Terraria? all Classes have 'Weapons' that can only be used by a certain class, for the element thing, it is limited by the kind of Magic weapon, that is why it is encouraged to hold multiple kinds of classed based weapons as possible to cover all weaknesses, for example, for melee users it is a good idea to carry a sword for Straight DPS and a Spear or Yo-yo for a bit more range Here are the differences for each class and what makes them different from each other Warrior: Warrior's are all about being up close and personal Ranger: these guys uses Ranged weapons that consume Ammo Mage: Mages Uses Energy weapons or Magic that use Mana as Ammo Summoners: uses Mana to summon minions so yea the only real difference between classes is fighting Style, oh i forgot You CAN infact Change classes too, you just need the emblem of that class, Emblems are Dropped by the Wall of flesh and only the Wall of flesh
