TBH I think we all just ended up getting distracted.
Use Air Slash if we have it, if we don't then use Aerial Ace, and if we don't have that then I guess we're stuck with Water Gun. In any case fly up a bit higher so he can't reach us.

Well, it wouldn't have made a difference. He would still have the same reaction.
You try to tell him that you dont have any connection to Obama.
" Thats what they all say!" He replies as he starts flinging his arms around wildly. Gigantic words appear on the screen. They read "MONEY MASTERY" as gigantic chains appear out of the ground and you are pulled down. Then, a gigantic money bag appears and Romney jumps into it. It morphs into a money themed mech, and he puches you to the ground. After all that, he realizes that you used protect! That cuts the damage into quarters! However, thats still a lot of damage, and you are hanging on to small amounts of health.
