??? (The Origin)

" Those gods aren't gonna tell me what to do!" Tefflon yells as he lays down instead of kneeling.

Tefflon yells and lies down in an admittedly comfortable position on the tile floor. Meanwhile, Dia, Zack, Ashley, and Chetwyn kneel towards the statue with their eyes shut. At first, nothing particularly noteworthy seems to occur from the entire ordeal. Then, in the blink of your non-blinking eyes, "something" can be felt stirring within you, and it almost feels as though the blood of your bodies dances to it in response. Shortly after this strange sensation, a voice can be heard within your minds.

You, who have been summoned to this holy ground, will now serve as a highly virtuous disciple, and a far-reaching extension of the gods' holy force.

The voice speaks with high authority, yet it's difficult to assign any sort of distinction to it...

You will be granted a portion of the power, in order to serve for said power, and to uphold your power for eternity everlasting.

The final portion of the message differs between the four.

For Dia... Now rise, as a Power of Time!
For Zack... Now rise, as a Power of Enthalpy!
For Ashley... Now rise, as a Power of the Light!
For Chetwyn... Now rise, as a Power of the Gales!

As suddenly as it appeared, the voice now disappears, leaving behind a faint echo still within your minds. Now opening your eyes, the four notice that they all have something held in their grasp. Dia is now holding what appears to be a beautifully crafted silver rapier, reflecting a golden gleam from the sun. Zack holds what appears to be some sort of harpoon gun, with some sort of nostalgic feeling emanating just from the looks of it. Chetwyn now holds a wooden recurve bow; yet, the quality of the bow would almost make it seem as though it were only for show if it didn't radiate a very slight hint of some indefinable energy. Bizarrely enough, when Ashley opens her eyes, she sees herself holding the very same sword that she had removed from the boulder before. Going by the appearance, nothing appears different from before.
For all four of you, you can sense a prominent new force flowing throughout your body. It feels almost difficult to simply handle the presence of this new energy, yet seems to almost WANT its user to implore in its use. Whatever just happened in that ritual, it definitely changed you.

Cross: "The whole kneeling thing turned up good, huh? Told you we weren't lyin'. I know you wanna go stab stuff with the new toys now, so let's go practice stabbing stuff! Me and L can take it from here. Follow up, new guys!
...Oh, yeah. Whenever Tiffany feels like actually doing the god stuff right, he can come with. Else I'm sending your ass back to wherever your sad life is."

Cross and the man with the book enter through the palace doors, waiting for the others. Rose and Pars enter the helicopter as it flies off.

Ashley looks how everyone got fancy new weapons and then she kinda of stares at her sword. "I think it looks just a tiny bit shiner," Ashley says disappointed. "Hey you why didn't get a fancy looking weapon," Ashley groaned while addressing Art.

"That's because my lady you already hold a legendary weapon," Art addressed Ashley. "The blade you weild is called Exc...," Art said as he forgot what it was called.

"Yay I got the legendary Exc," Ashley said rather unenthusiastically. "I wonder if I can trade my weapon with anyone," Ashley asked.

"I doubt how that works my lady," Art told her.

"Fine I guess at least I feel different so there's that," Ashley said. "How bout you guys how do you feel?" Ashley asked

Chetwyn notices Tefflon catching up.
"Ah, I see that thou hast chosen to accompany us after all."
He then turns to Ashley.
"As for thine question, 'Tis a glorious feeling. This divine blessing is everything I had grown up believing it would be were I to be chosen."

"I feel... something, but I'm not believing anything about superpowers until I do something cool.

For all I know, someone put a harpoon gun in my hands while I was distracted."

"I don't know what's going on, but if I keep moving ahead, I'm sure we'll all find answers to our questions."

Ashley just glares at Tefflon.

So Mr. Teff are you an all powerful god and why did you summon us? Also why are you messing with poor Dia you had your chance on the helicopter and you blew it.
