Oblivion unleashes a blast of dark lightning on the Shadow Wolfman followed by an S-Wave from Reaper-S. The enemy then charges forward and unleashes multiple claw slashes on Oblivion, doing heavy damage to him. Both of them look pretty exhausted.

one final barrage with Phantom force, S-slash combo
as a reminder phantom force allows oblivion to make a shadow-y copy, the copy attacks first. the first attack does nothing but make the foe flinch, while the second attack does damage

You finally finish off the shadow wolfman with a last barrage of attacks. That was...surprising. He was way more powerful than the other enemies you've faced so far.
Reaper-S leveled up!
I don't remember what level he was originally, but you have it written down, right? Can I see what level so I can tell you if he got a new skill or not?

Okay, so Reaper-S is now level 6, but he didn't get any new skills. Oblivion and Reaper-S are both exhausted from their battle, but can still keep going. It might be best to avoid fighting another one of those things in the future though. Oblivion still stands among the ruins of some sort of base. However, he hears something nearby. Shouting about something. It sounds like an argument.

"GERA, this is all your fault! Why aren't we out of this stupid seal yet!?"
"Quiet, you wench! I am a great and mighty hero! I shall rescue us from this prison!"
"It has been TWO YEARS! TWO YEARS since those brats in that guild trapped us here. GET US OUT ALREADY!"
"Of course! I shall rescue you right away! Haha! Now then...just to figure out how to do that..."
"GAAAH! Move faster! Gogogo! I am sick of being stuck here with you two!"
A third voice speaks up. "Um...guys, maybe we should focus on breaking the seal instead of arguing."
"SHUT UP ZERA!" The two voices yell at him in unison.
"Hopefully someone can hear us and will break it from the outside..."

Oblivion heads over toward the sound of the shouting and notices what looks like large double doors with an ominous seal on them. He then heads over and smashes the doors open with his axe, causing the doors to fly open. There's an explosion and the doors are no longer there, instead, standing in their place are three shadowy figures. One looking like an old mage, one looking like an overly muscular rogue, and the last a knight that's slouching and looks sad.
"FINALLY! FREE!" The mage steps forward before the rogue runs up from behind and steps in front of her, posing dramatically.
"ANOTHER VICTORY FOR THE SHADOW TRIO! HAHA!"
"Get out of my way, you buffoon!" She knocks him away with her staff.
"YOU CRUEL WITCH!"
She then starts to walk forward further and notices you. "Ehhh? EHHH? You must have been the one that released us, EH? Well thanks or whatever, but we're LEAVING now." She starts to hobble off, but the knight speaks up.
"Uh...Shouldn't we help him or something?"
"...This is why nobody likes you, Zera." The old shadow hobbles back over to you. "AHEM! We are the Shadow Trio and since you released us, we're STUCK helping you. So give us your job so we can leave and finally be free. I've been waiting for a vacation for the last 1,000 years!"
"Just retire you old wench!" The rogue hops up. "As a hero of JUSTIIIICCCEEE, I shall help you, citizen! We are the true heroes of this story! So which evildoer will we dispose of first!?" He looks around and poses.
"...Sorry, these two are weird." The knight sighs. "But thanks to a curse put on us and plot convenience, we have to help the person that unseals us..."

Gera stands and points his weapon dramatically to the sky. "FEAR NOT, I SHALL FIX YOU!"
Zera sighs. "No, I think he just doesn't talk much..."

Gera looks shocked. "Wait, you...YOU LIKE CHARADES AS WELL!? IS IT A WALRUS RIDING A DINOSAUR!?"
Mera shakes her head. "No, you idiot! It's obviously a heartwarming movie about a dog that got lost trying to find its home."
Zera sighs. "I think this guy's familiar. We saw him a couole years back when we were working for that other guy..."
