You attempt to eat the bars. Gnawing on these bars does not appear to be doing too much and your teeth are starting to hurt. The taste of metal fills your mouth, but you aren't sure if it's the bars or your blood. You're already feeling a bit lightheaded from vomiting so much.

Somnis nods and you both continue looking around in the volcanic area, eventually coming across a group of Hellhounds. They bark at you and charge into battle, getting a first strike before the party can move. Tab, Somnis, and Fox all receive damage from a flaming fang attack, but Fox resists most of the damage easily.

Julia quickly creates a new light barricade in front of Lisa to protect her while Lisa unleashes another barrage of lasers on the Crystal Basilisk. Robbie launches a sheep into it before Morgan's petals surround the Crystal Basilisk in a petal tornado, hitting it multiple times. The basilisk appears enraged and roars at the party, digging into the wall. A moment later, the entire cave begins to rumble with rocks falling down from above on the party. The Crystal Basilisk comes charging through at the opposite end of the cave, gnashing its giant teeth. "Run!" Lisa commands the party to start running from the basilisk as it chases after them. "Be careful not to trip. We don't want to end up in that thing's mouth." She jumps up in the air and creates a holographic cube platform for the party to stand on as it moves for them.

Tab will just damage output with Flying Copy on an enemy.

Morgan will go ahead and use tail wind to help increase the speed of the platform. Then Morgan will wait for the thing to opens its mouth. Then when it does Morgan will get as many petals into its mouth as possible. If its hungry then let's feed it a mouth full of blades (and fury)

A powerful light begins to gather around Somnis. Dogachu lets out a howl, raising the entire party's offense. Tab then throws a paper at an enemy, causing a bow to stick to it, draining its health slowly over time. Fox tosses an exploding shuriken at one of the Hellhounds, damaging it a bit, but none of them seem to be taken down yet. All three of them release a fire breath attack, damaging everyone in the party three times. Fox seems to resist most of the damage and Tab heals most of it from draining the enemy's health. Somnis is surrounded in a bright light and her Crystal Beam is fully charged.

Julia launches an Anti Ricochet Beacon into the wall, causing the Crystal Basilisk to smash it apart by tackling it. Robbie tries to drop a Bull Counter in front of the party, but he's not targeted by the basilisk. It disappears in the cave as the platform starts to move faster with Morgan activating tailwind. The party then hears a loud roar echo throughout the caverns and the basilisk comes charging in, blasting apart a nearby wall to chase after the party. It continues to chase after them at twice the speed of before. Lisa quickly launches five lasers into the Crystal Basilisk again.

Alright...
Only skill with which I can possibly slow him down is Boulder Shot...
I'll give myself more chance of slowing him though.
If Julia has a shot inside the mouth, that's where she'll aim. Goal is to have the snake choke.
If that doesn't seem like an option, she'll aim her Boulder shot at an eye instead (the right one if the choice is important)
