Here you can talk about important things for this game. This is for discussing things about Virtual Tower and the rules of Virtual Tower, so please don't have random conversations here. Those are for the social board.

Well, maybe. Sure. Whatever. I've been known to break my own rules, so others can too I guess. Don't make me use my super awesome admin powers though.

Wait no, I think I didn't understand the game!
I thought I choose a character, then I level him up like a Pokemon...

Oh, no, not really. I'll probably explain the rules tomorrow at some time. Maybe one of the others can do a better job of it right now.

I can't promise a 100% accurate explanation, but hopefully this gives you a good idea.
Basically, you play as a normal person (can be almost any age) that just bought a new video game console (I fogot the name...). The console allows you to play The Virtual Tower, a VR game where the goal is to reach the 100th floor. When you enter the game world, you can choose your acount name and appearance. Appearance can be anything you want (I'm Koops, pie is Orange Kid, just is unique, etc.). The game mostly plays as an action game with some RPG stats. In order to fight, you must use Figures, which are figures of a video game character. There are many figures, examples being Pichu, Mr. G&W, Ciaran, Apple Kid, etc. To get figures, you can either buy them in real life at the local game store, get them in real life another way like trading, or defeat enemies in the game that may become figures for you to collect. Usually, the figures will fight for the player, but I've developed the ability to fight alongside my figures after a desperate situation. Both yourself and the figures have stats. You will have HP (I have SP because of my ability), and the figures have HP and SP. HP is obvious, SP allows them to perform special moves or actions. I don't believe attacking in general drains SP. Figures can level up. The game is an MMO, so you can talk to other players, join their guilds, etc. And since you are a normal person, when you're done playing a session, you'll return to the real world with all your figures. You can go to school/work (deoending on your age), and do whatever you want, pretty much.
Uh... Yeah. Hopefully, I got most of the info right.

Most of that is correct. Some other things to. I know my characters name is Catie who is a student at the same high school as the players. My online appearance is that of a cat laguz. So when making an application for the game it just needs to be;
your characters off line name; (Ex. Catie) Apperence; just what they look like in the 'real world' Bio; Just some basic info you feel like is relevant
Then you can start the game at the game store. Just14 will give you a choice of either selecting characters that are predetermined or you can use the figure dispenser. Think of that as a gumball dispenser for figures you never know what your going to get. (Ex. I chose Pichu and Roy from the clerk and got Shulk from the dispenser.)
Then you go home and log onto the system. There you chooses your online name (Ex. Madem Meow meow) and your online avatar/ appearance. (Ex. Cat Laguz, even though it would be cool to see King Boo considering we just had a boss battle against him. Catie could just look at you puzzled and asked didn't we just defeat you???). That's all you need to get started.
Now as a player you can either attack your self with weapons or figures. For example there was a tournament a while back And I won a silver lance. I can use that to beat up enemies or I have a couple of figures a Fire spirit (from the Dragon Quest seems) I can use like a sword and a Magikarp I can use like a baseball bat. If you use your figures as weapons they still level up like usual. Normal attacks like kicking, punching, etc don't require SP. But if you want to use a characters special moves you need SP a d the first time a figure gains SP is at lv.10. Now food character specific let's take Mr. Game and Watch for example, he can punch and stuff w/o HP but if he wanted to use a move related to the Game and Watch series (Oil Panic, his Torch smash attack, Judgment, etc.) then he would need SP. The more powerful the move the more SP.
Now one more thing I will talk about are combo moves. Combo moves are when you and the figures or your figures, or partners figures team up and unleash powerful moves. Some combo moves are simple like the one I do a lot for example, the Squirtle Bros move. It involves kicking a Squirtle shell back and fourth like the bros maunever from the Mario and Luigi series. Others are really hard. The thing with combo moves are that they are done by exploring and experimenting. A lot of the combos I did were from just from experimenting with different moves and seeing what works.
On line me and (what's Megamans name here) go around adventuring and exploring floors. We recently got done floor 3 which was a battle in which me and Jack fought Cute Baby from the Persona Q game and King Boo.
I think I got most of it but any questions or any clarifications just ask

Yeah, that should work fine. Since you're a bit behind, I'll make your starting characters level five instead of level one and I'll let you either choose two from the shop on display or get three from the random figure dispenser. Characters at the store today are characters that are flat.

There are other characters that are flat. He could pick characters from Paper Mario. He could also just get random figures from the figure dispenser which could be anyone.

Is there restrictions for the characters?
Like can I pick Smorg and Crystal King?
Also, I don't choose what come out of the dispenser right?

There aren't any restrictions other than what is in stock at the shop and yes, the dispenser is random, but it gets you three figures instead of two.
