The badge seems to be on the other side of the poisonous river. The three step on a wooden platform and it starts to float off with them on it. About halfway through the tunnel, a giant, purple cheep cheep pops up out of the water and blocks the way forward, starting a battle.

There's a Turtley Leaf sitting in the center of a small flower patch surrounded by three Piranha Plants, there's a question block floating over the river again, and there's a large looking, purple Piranha Plant that's sleeping on top of a small ledge nearby. It looks like you can get up there by climbing a few mushrooms. Various trees and bushes are around the area as well. You can see what might be some sort of ancient temple in the distance...? The entrance into the cave made of thorny vines is not blocked.

Kameron releases a Shadow Shot at the enemy Cheep Cheep, dealing two damage followed by Gobokeh shooting a laser at it for 1 damage. Dave goes into his shell and spins into the same enemy, also dealing 1 damage. The Mega Poison Cheep Cheep begins charging some sort of attack. "That doesn't look good."

You climb up a few mushrooms and then walk over to the sleeping, purple piranha plant. As you do so, it seems to wake up and notice you. It lets out a roar, snapping its teeth at you.
