Baiscally I am done with those people in Tokyo 3. They have there human robot fusions. Shinji ran back to them after we risked everything to save them. Also if we go back to Tokyo 3 we might as well go there handcuff. Nope they made there bed so now they can lie in it. Besides theres only one place we need to go after beating up holograms and that's good old Newark New Jersey. I vote for Newark and guys remember one thing. Chicks dig Giant Robots. So just because you're mad about Shinji not wanting to leave Neo Tokyo defenseless you're fine with letting him get killed? |

BTW, all: Would you like if I made a map of the Eruptions and the territories they are known to affect? I'm not an artist, but I could pull a world map off the net and mark it up to help keep things straight. I could also include a line tracking Logan's path Indiana Jones style
Edit: And yes, Chicks sure frigging do Dig Giant Robots.

about map: eh I never actually pay attention to maps in games. I'd say text would be enough. I wouldn't mind a map provided you have the time, though.
I think I'll actually vote for Tokyo-3 as there's no mention of a new eruption. I do not think it's possible for the fusion to fail as it would cause either the failure of the warp and/or Logan's death, both of which would discontinue the game (or make the new episode title inappropriate).
My only worry is if New Jersey contains the OG plot :/

I say we tried saving him once and he left the knife in our back. We moved on and they moved on. |

Neo Tokyo was the anime-themed world in Gates. I know it's confusing to have written two similarly named cities. Tokyo-3 is the only one featured in Super Robot Wars W-E. Attachments:

Really I want to go to Newark because it involves a series I know alot more about (Magus XR??) then the one from Tokyo 3 (Neo Geo Evagnile).
Plus was never a big fan of Shinji to begin with. He was always too whiny

I will say there will always be chances to connect with individual series. It just comes down to being around the characters to meet. Zero percent chance I will block off an entire Eruption's worth of content. The closest to having that happen is Pacific Rim, which hasn't played a huge role since Logan refused the duel, but I assure you, those awesome robots will return.

Thanks Punk Senpai at least someone appreciates it. Like I said part of the reason is personal taste, part of it is we are placing an awful lot of trust in everything going right, part of it is that I don't really trust (the Japanese chick with the pet penguin) or care for Shinji.
So a few questions from the side that wants to help out Shinji
How do we know the fusion is 100% fool proof and that it wouldn't end badly for us like it did with Steve and Connie?
Last I check Logan is a normal human still and doesn't have any powers we don't know about that aren't linked to the W-E. Also Fuzz your a fellow veteran/fan of Punk's writing. What happens when we make assumptions in any of his things. Bad things in spectacular decisions.
Second and this is the big one. Steve even said we can't teleport the W-E over the warp pad because it cant fit. So what are we going to fight with?
It will take the WE a while to make it from I assuming somewheres on the East Coast. So we are going to fight against an angle invasion while our weapon is far away from us. You really think that:
A.) The people in Tokyo-3 will lend us one of there robot/living being hybrid thing after we kidnapped Shinji.
B.) Would Logan even want to use one of there weapons. After the reason we kidnapped Shinji was to save him from going through that emotional trama of using one again. Crow you even called out that group during the Power Ranger Arc about what they were doing is wrong and unethical.
Again we are assuming the weapon one of the gems told us we get from fusing with Steve will be useful.

There's a difference between "giving a rebuttal" and "silencing an opinion," X. As much as I want to go to New Joysey, at the end of the day I just can't ignore a friend calling for help, whether I can actually do anything or not. well then i really hope that everything works out then. I haven't really heard of any rebutals though. Baiscally, the only counters I heard is we have to go save Shinji. Like we can't be dicks so lets go rush head long into a situation without any thoughts or plam. I gave rebuttals. Like we are going to face an angle which I may not know much but I know they are high end level bosses at the very least. Without our best weapon, in a compromised postion and with the thought that after we save them there is a very high likely they will throw us in jail. I mean we have to fight off angles while wondering in the back of our mind hey will they throw us in jail or look for revenge. I mean these people have no issue putting Shinji in this mess in the first place. You think they would simply forgive us after everything we did. Also Crow your not use to Gates series or Cm Punk but when ever we assumed that everything will work out fine. It doesn't there's always something that goes wrong or unexpected. So will the fusion go horribly wrong, will we get a useless or a weapon we can't use? These are things we have to think about. Not well Shinji our former best friend is in danger. So again if Shinji and the other chick didnt call us begging for help would we go? If Shinji and the Japaneese chick were completely safe and in no danger at all would you all be so willing to go back into such a situation? |
