How strong is Lapis? I know controlling the ocean is pretty strong but umm would Logan and Steven stand much of a chance.
Or would fighting her be like suicide?
Also what did Pearl do that Lapis wants her dead? Was it just the whole rebellion thing? Locking her in a mirror?

The canon Lapis fight, for reference (this also gives a little more info on what's up visually, like the tower and the water face she was using to speak): Logan, as a reminder, has no superpowers and carries no handheld weapons because he's deliberately not meant to be an action hero power fantasy. But the option is there to fuse into Herkimer Diamond if you'd like - it's the one where he starts to sing. On the subject of Pearl, the Crystal Gem Rebellion happened on Earth thousands of our years ago. 5,300 years ago, specifically. Lapis was locked up as a slave in the mirror, her brain active that entire time since then but unable to get free. That's why Lapis is totally pissed.

Sorry if it's a lot of questions Punk I just wanted to get some back ground before I make a decision instead of just saying no deal or doing anything drastic especially since this seems very important.
How close is Logan and Steven to Pearl? Like if we do the mirror thing is there a chance that we forever just ruin a relationship.
Because it sounds like either agree to terms at this point or fight Lapis for the ocean's back.

By all means, you should never feel discouraged to ask questions. I'm glad this scenario has you wondering about these things!
Logan isn't very close at all to Pearl. Though he spent a month in Beach City mostly doing summer stuff, he didn't spend much if any of it with her since he gets the impression she doesn't like him.
Steven sees her as a mother, or at the very least a very close maternal figure since his biological mom is out of the picture. He wouldn't be very happy about it, but it's unlikely that he's the one you'd have to worry about going down this path.

Damn there's a tough choice all around.
I really don't want to just sacrifice Pearl without getting her story.
But well Lapis does have a reason to be upset.
Can't we just have Lapis and Pearl settle it in a good old fashion one on one brawl. Winner gets freedom loser gets mirror.
Actually why not try to offer that as a solution. Lapis problem seems to be with only Pearl. I say let the two of them go at it.

Atop a Grand Pillar“After thousands of years of imprisonment, it's tough to blame you for wanting to see such a fate applied to Pearl. On behalf of the United Arms, I accept both these terms, and you as our newest official unaffiliated associate.” Logan extended his hand, and the distraught kid he had helping him out opened the bubble long enough for Lapis to accept it. “Just think how much easier it could have been. None of this had to happen if you'd just listened in the first place.” After finishing their handshake, the powerful being stepped closer to the edge of the tower's circular top. She began staring down at the bare land with a miserable expression. “It's not the only decision I'll regret in the future, but I'll live with it. Now, there's just one other thing we need to suss out. How long do you see Pearl being captive in that mirror? Only reason I ask is because there are a lot of threats to this world, and to Pearl's credit, her current career does help keep innocents safe.” Logan was hoping it'd be less than 5,300 years. “We totally do! Lapis, it'd be so cool if you could see what the Crystal Gems are all about! They're so good, I never even knew there was ever a Gem war until I was like ten!” He hit Lapis with 'The Lip', as a great man once colloquially referred to that little kid 'oh poor me' frowning maneuver as. Looking back at the humans, Lazuli answered politely. “I'd be glad to. There will be no lasting grudge against Garnet.” She sneered and said, “Even though she definitely deserves a good kick in the ass.” “Speaking of ass and the kicking of it, there's something that I have in mind that might appeal to you. What if, and hear me out here, you gave Pearl the opportunity to fight for her life?” “Meaning?” “Meaning one on one combat, you against her. A fight for your freedom, to earn it and prove yourself over Pearl.” “I don't see what that solves.” “I do!” Steven said, before looking dumbfounded. “Actually I don't.” “I mean, it might be more fair in a certain sense than just making her submit to being poofed. It's more of a-” The Ambassador was interupted by Lapis asking, “What are those?” with some alarm in her voice. She was reacting to the myriad giant somethings that could be made out back at ground level. S and L moved over to where she was, and were able to confirm that they were still appearing, seemingly out of thin air. And that they were both mechanical and colored quite drably. “Do humans have teleporters now?!” Lapis asked. “No. And I don't think they're teleporting. And I don't think they're human either. We need to get down there now!” The Ambassador wished he could get on ham radio, because it looked like his mission team was getting surrounded.
Choice Time! >”Steven, let's do a HALO-style jump! We'll jump out of the bubble as we move off this tower, descend as fast as we can with the forces of gravity, and at an appropriate height, we'll fuse into Herk, float to stop our momentum, defuse, and land as close as we can to my mecha.”
>”Lapis, get us down there double-time!”
>”Lazuli, please contact Coop and tell him to get Megas up here asap! We'll face these things in the sky!”
>”Lapis, please keep Steven safe up here while taxiing me down there. I'll show you just how well I protect my allies.”

Is the Wonderchild showing any signs of moving? As if Sonya started piloting it?

Yes. As requested, she seems to have been ready to bolt straight up the arm and into the hatch. At least, that's the assumption, since it's out of that position and standing in a nominally 'ready' position.

Part of me wants to say D just so we can show Lapis how we are all about fighting for our friends.
But it was always going to be A but do we have to defuse. Since Sonya is piloting Wonder child why not stayed in our fused form and deal with the robots in our fused form.

It's an available option, yes. The question is, can what Herkimer Diamond brings to the table make up for not having Logan in his default unit/do you trust Sonya's piloting ability? Or, if you'd rather try being diplomatic about it, you could try giving Herk a chance at wordswordswords.

A couple of questions.
Is it a huge dropoff between Logan and Sonya?
Like if Logan can get 100% from the wonder child how much can Sonya get from it?
The people that are surrounding our team are they hostile or are they making any hostile actions towards them?

The people that are surrounding our team are they hostile or are they making any hostile actions towards them? The Ambassador has never seen Sonya pilot it, so their comparative performance is a mystery. For all we know she might make better usage of some features than he does. Or not. The units have not fired. But appearing one at a time as their units fill up the map is traditionally a villain thing in canon SRW games. Just ask Crow!

I always assumed that was a limitation of the engine (or a tradition for the later games, or maybe a way to keep things clearer to the players?) more than a thing actually happening...
Yeah, give Sonny Girl a shot and go for it with Herk.
