Joey goes and buys some Volcanite from Griffon with his large expanses of money, spending a total of 100 Gold on the materials. When he and Sylvia work on creating the mech, it seems to have no effect though. The Volcanite absorbs the magic and stops it from fully functioning, unless Sylvia uses fire magic, which just combusts the whole machine having been amplified...
