The Lost Kingdom

"...Guys?"

Joey looks around the crowd.

" GREY! You really aren't dead! Good for you! Well, how will we prove that we are still in our prime?"

---Treblig---

Treblig joins the party with a plate in hand. He seems really happy and shouts:

"I'M HERE!!! I BROUGHT CACTUS SALAD FOR EVERYONE!!!"

He takes the cover off his plate to reveal cactuses still full of needles.


---Malik---

Malik heard Joey and feeling uncomfortable, quietly whispers to himself:

"But... I can just heal people..."

He then suddenly seems brave and full of confidence says:

"I'm up for the task! I'll show you oldies my awesome secret techniques!!!"

Malik whispers to himself again: "What... What is going on?"

With confidence, he then responds:

"Attacking your friends instead of the enemy is unnaceptable! I have nothing against a friendly brawl though..."

Lupis shrugs. "I'm not sure how useful an all out brawl would be, but some friendly one-on-one matches with practice weapons might make for a good training exercise while helping us get a better idea of the various fighting styles we all use."
(Note: while I may be suggesting this, I won't actually be able to participate. Today is going to be another long day of driving to get home.)

Cyrin continues on with his story even as others talk. He talks about how before Terran was even founded, there was another town where it is. This town was just like Terran, actually. In fact, it wasn't too long ago. Cyrin's father, the king of this old town, had watched over it and made sure the building went smoothly. He also hired adventurers to explore and protect the town from the Dark Lord. Back then, the Dark Lord was a powerful Human bent on destroying everyone in his path. The king had found a special adventurer to help the town though. One day a Verian walked into town with a small light floating near him. This Verian's name was Lance. He was a powerful knight. That light turned out to be his guide and the Guardian of Light. Her name...was Tyra. Lance travelled across the world, gathering together the other four Guardians. Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. However, after his adventure to get the last Guardian and save the town, a Lance returned home to a flaming wasteland. He was too late. The Dark Lord already reached the old town. Countless lives had been taken and the town set on fire, burning to the ground. Lance made his way to the castle, the only standing building, and found the throne room. There, the king, his son, and Darkus stood. The king had lost his fight with the Dark Lord, collapsing on the floor as he told Darkus to always protect his son. The king had died. It's said that after that, Lance had a great battle with the Dark Lord, sealing away all of the Guardians. Nobody really knows though...

The Kings son was very young, only about four years old then. He doesn't remember much of a thing. With his father lost in the great battle and his mother lost at his birth, the little king was raised by his caretaker, Sylvera and his knight, Darkus. The young king had grown up, traveling around the world with no true home. Then one day he and the two he always kept with him found an empty town. There was a large, standing castle along with walls around the town. There were a few ruined buildings around, but no people were found. The king, Darkus, and Sylvera explored further until finding a big crystal in the center of town. It was blue and shone brilliantly in the light. As they approached, a voice spoke to them. Was it the crystal? It told the king that this was his home. It told him that the crystal would give him the power to rebuild his town. He would be able to create a beautiful place to live. As the king touched the crystal, he gained a new form of magic. He had learned magic from Sylvera before and basic self defense from Darkus, but he never even heard of this new magic. This magic gave him the ability to create buildings in mere moments. The young king spent the day running around the town, fixing up the walls and the castle, along with clearing away rubble. The king tried to create a house, but to his surprise, nothing happened. The crystal told him that in order to create new buildings, he required tablets. Not only that, but the king needed Zonite as well. Darkus had left the town to the nearby Adventurer's Path to gather some Zonite and find a tablet. When he returned, the king created the buildings as the people that lived there were teleported right into the building. The town was soon growing as the king made houses and shops for groceries and clothes. He needed adventurers though. With his last pieces of Zonite, the king made three houses. Each one had an adventurer inside. Gray, Joey, and Kick had all become the first adventurers of Terran.
