The Lost Kingdom

Rumbles mumbles to himself as he watches the people dancing. "How many people can get drunk at one party...?"

(By the way, Pk, you said that you wanted me to tell you which characters were which with some information on them?)

"I wonder what the other Guardians are like. I can't really remember. For some reason, my memories from before the great battle between Lance and the Dark Lord are gone..."

"Maybe the Guardian of Air is a giant bird!" A light comes flying out of Lupis' necklace. It flies around Phoenix. "Oh, what if the Guardian of Earth is a giant worm monster like that sand worm we fought in the desert!"

"Yuck! Don't even talk about that thing!"

"Wait, didn't Lupis and Yura see statues of all the different Guardians in the ruins? You know, the ones on Mt. Chill? You found the necklace there?"

Yura looks at the light a moment. "Huh, you know, now that you mention it, I think I do remember something like that, Tyra. Let's see...I remember seeing Phoenix as the Guardian of Fire...was it a wolf? No...a lion? Two lions! That's right, the Guardian of Earth are Twin Lions! Now I remember!"

"Does that mean there are two Guardians we're going to find on the island?"

"I don't think so. I may not remember much before the Dark Lord battle, but I know for a fact there are only four main Guardians. Then there's of course, the light and dark Guardians, but they're another matter..."

Meanwhile, the new adventurers are having a conversation about some old adventurers. "...Hey, Ash? Isn't that Sci over there?"

"Ugh, I don't know. I don't care. I'm trying to eat..."

"C'mon, aren't you interested at all? I mean, he almost never leaves his room. All he does is make little things in his workshop. Y'know, those things."

"You mean his machines?"

"Yeah, those! What are they called?"

"I dunno. He sells them like pets or something. Can I eat now? I'm trying to figure out how to put this cactus salad in my mouth without getting needles everywhere."

"Noooooo! We need to go catch Sci! He's outside of his lab and if we don't catch him now, he'll just go running back to it!"

"You go do that. I'm going to eat."

"Fiiiinnnnnne!" The archer slowly sneaks up on the Chibi Goblin sitting by the fire and talking to Tren before grabbing him by the legs and holding him up in the air. "Haha! Got ya, Sci! Now you can't go hide in your lab and you'll have to come adventuring with u-" the archer's cut off as the Chibi Goblin he's holding takes out a big hammer and smacks him with it, knocking the Elf away onto the beach.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?"

"I think it was an accident Rumbles. He thought you were someone else..." Tren apologetically smiles at the archer and helps him up. "I think we got off on the wrong foot. Hi, my name's Tren. I hope to be a master mage some day! Say hi, Rumbles."

"...Alright. Hey, my name's Rumbles. I try to focus on keeping my skills well rounded. What was up with what you did earlier!?"

"Sorry, I thought you were Sci...wow, Chibi Goblins all look pretty alike..."

"Wow, that's...really racist..." Tren looks nervous.

"You have serious issues, kid. Let's go find somewhere else to relax." Rumbles wanders off toward the other side of the party with Tren following close behind.

"That could have gone smoother..."

"You think?" The new mage seems to have appeared from nowhere next to him.

"I'm not old enough to drink. Sorry, Reese." Tren declines her offer.

"Eh, sure. One drink can't hurt. What is this, by the way?" Rumbles accepts the mug of unknown alcohol from Reese and looks at it.

Meanwhile...

"Oh...this is the idiot you're looking for." The dreary looking girl picks up the Elf and shoves him toward Azure.

"Whoa! You know, you're a lot stronger than you look, Ash. Anyway, I'm NOT racist, that guy's just a big baby. So, cat lady, it's nice to meet you. I'm Keth. I'm gonna be the greatest adventurer ever. Just thinking of all that cool treasure is exciting! Oh, this is Ashley, but I just call her Ash."

"...Hi."

Cyrin seems to have overheard Treblig. "Oh, that reminds me, if you ever need some kind of material or something, you can make a request. How about you try it out with getting the Zonite for your shop?"

"Oh, yes, I heard about that...well, I'm not that thirsty now, so...I'll just...hold onto this for...later...?"

"Whatever, I'm just doing this because nobody else would hire me. They were scared or something. Some kind of rumors that I cast curses on people I don't like..."

"...Yeeeeaaaaaahhh, she's not really the most sunshiny person. You see, Ash, Sci, and I have known each other for a while. We've traveled together as explorers, but Sci never does anything."

"His contribution is actually very important to the team. We all need each other." Ashley says this in a dull voice.

"Hmm...not really. It was a long time ago, so I don't remember that well. I do remember Phoenix and the Twin Lions though. Ask Lupis."

"...Joey? You're being different..." Cheri looks at Joey in confusion. "Are you okay?"
