Joey jumps off of Phoenix as Danatharf grabs him, flying him through the air. Sylvia blasts the missile with fire as it explodes behind Phoenix. Yura looks around, worried. "Where's Joey?"

Phoenix flies off to Terran, somehow avoiding disaster as the group lands in the town. Turning in the documents to Cyrin, they're given 150 Gold each. "These look promising. Good work, everyone! I'm going to meet with a few shopkeepers and see what we can do with this. Look forward to the results tomorrow!"
Aven heals himself with a bluish green light and Malik heals Reese. The two feel their wounds healed as Reese smashes the front tentacle twice with her hammer. It isn't quite defeated though. "It be too late. Tell me wife I loved her!" The three look at Captain Salty as he's dragged underwater by the tentacle.
Kick sells his old boots and equips his Dash Shoes. He feels lighter on his feet now, like he could run almost twice as fast.

there were two of you and none of you helped free the captain
i even had reese tell you guys to focus on freeing the captain
we didn't even take that much damage

I just figured each tentacle would take two hits and go down (as it seemed to be) so we would could be topped off as you take out the last tentacle (since you have stronger stuff) in case there was another phase (then again I am not really sure of the mechanics of the game). Probably misread it though

There's a chance you could drown as well... I also forgot to mention the electricity fuse ran out, you'll have to fuse again if you want it. |

If Aven goes underwater, can Malik tie a rope around him so he can bring him back up?
And if things go south, Malik would just cut the rope so he doesn't drown with Aven and the captain.

(Sure, just grab the rope and use it. What kind of ship doesn't have rope lying around? I'd be fine with that plan.)
Reese hits the front tentacle once more as the Kraken screeches and the tentacle falls into the water. Meanwhile, Aven runs to the back of the ship with Malik, as the two tie a rope around each other. Aven then jumps in the water as Malik watches after him carefully. Malik takes the chance for a quick Heal on himself. He notices he's running out of magic power too. As Aven hits the water, he manages to see through the salty sting in his eyes underwater. He can see Salty struggling to break free of the tentacle. Up on the ship, Kraken makes a gurgling growling sound at Reese before spewing a blinding ink on Reese. The black ink not only hurts, but also causes Reese to be unable to see.
The group of five in the mine carefully advance onward until coming across two Goblin Guards and a Goblin King.

Reese will create a Makeshift Shield around herself and wipe her eyes while hiding under the shield.
