Okay, avoid attacks. If there's an opportunity, knock out the Verians with knives. Then collect the arrows so the Verians can't take them back.
"Aye Captain! Don't attack the archers! Just avoid attack and knock out the two guys with knives. Then collect as many arrows as you can. If they run out of arrow and see that we don't attack them, they might understand that we're not looking for trouble!"

I also believe we have the right of way to wielding our weapons in an unknown location. But if you insist, I'll at least stay behind you all. Seeing as you're Verians, Lupis and Sylvia, you should lead the way anyways. |

"The Twin Lions reside in the Sacred Plains. They're just past the small jungle around the village. Well, the Elder Lions have not always been able to speak with the Twin Lions. In fact, my mother was the first. You see, the Twin Lions used to be enemies with the Elder Lions. My mother couldn't be kept from the Twin Lions though. She quickly became friends with the two and even learned to communicate with them. Somehow, she managed to end the long struggle between the Elder Lions and the Twin Lions. Ever since then, we've been close. Currently there are only three of us in the Elder Lion family. Myself, my son Ryze, and my daughter Koren. My daughter was out hunting this morning, so she must not be done yet. I am so fluent in your language simply because I have studied it for many years. It's part of the job as the Elder Lion. Ryze is still learning, but he can still do better than most of us in the village. Well, I'm not sure if there's anywhere or anything you find truly important. Could you specify? Well, the Twin Lions have been worried. They sense a terrible danger coming. We can't be sure what it is exactly. Perhaps you would have an idea?"

Oh I was just wondering of any other specific areas around here, like the guest areas where you took Reese, shops, training grounds, or any other places on the island like this Sacred Plains place you mentioned"
As for this terrible danger I'm not entirely sure because frankly it could be many things.

Although that name you brought up before rings a bell. That Lance fellow. Assuming its the same guy, I heard he took part in some big event in this land involving these "guardians" coming together for some fight between two factions...A King and a Dark Lord...granted I probably didn't get all the specifics of this event or how it all went down though.

and since I apparently met one of these guardians of this land out and about...I am gonna go out on a limb here and say its related to that. Something big might be going to go down soon, and that's what has them riled up.

Malik run around, trying his best to avoid the arrows as they fly around him. He manages to walk up to a dagger user. He takes the stab and grabs the knife throwing it into the jungle. Malik then quickly uses Heal to seal the wound. Salty manages to block the arrows using his axe like a shield. He then makes his way to the other dagger wielder and smacks the knife from his hand. As the two look around, eight more Verians join in. Four archers are in the treetops, two knife users appear from the bushes, and two lancers walk in. "There be too many! I can't fight them all!"
Phoenix lands down in the village and reverts from Phoenix form to Magigen form. "I think I've been here before." The group looks around, taking in their surroundings. The many cat Verians look at them. They don't seem friendly, but they aren't really hostile. There are a few fishing boats at the docks and there are houses around the area. One house does stand out as a bit larger though. Lupis and Sylvia hear something not too far from where they are though. It's faint, but it sounds like arrows being shot from bows.
