Cardinal: "Oh my gods... They ate their coffee beans? Even I wouldn't do that..."
Reese: "THIS IS SO BAD 0.6 NOT EVEN THAT GOOD"
Reese will attempt to Ricochet her Vulcan Hammer by throwing it at a Gear Slime and having it ricochet off to hit another.
Azure: "I-I'm good! You stay back and let me handle this, Treblig!"
Azure will get a running start and slam dunk jump at the previously damaged bat, slashing at it.
Kick will focus on keeping Green safe and will fire a Dark Blast at the enemy if it approaches Green.

Malik will heal Lupis when he can.

Lupis quickly builds up a rock wall between him and the Rock Golem as Sulvia throws water at it. Aven quickly follows up with an Electro Shock as the Golem sets its sights on Sylvia. It quickly attacks her and without equipment to protect well against physical attacks, she's badly hurt. Malik and Sky use their abilities to heal Lupis, but now Sylvia is being stared down by the angry golem.
Kick stands by Green, accurately predicting the Zu's attack as it swoops down at him. Kick quickly uses Dark Blast as an explosion of dark energy surrounds it. Green then finishes up casting his spell, causing the Zu to caught in a powerful sandstorm. The attack defeats the Zu and the group continues on a bit. It's getting really hot. The group may start hallucinating if they don't get water soon.
Azure jumps up, smashing the bat into the ground. With one bat down, the other two bats bite Azure again and she feels the effects of the poison. She's starting to feel a little faint.

Kick: "...We need water. Everyone, stay on the lookout for any buildings or water sources. I'll try something."
Kick will attempt to channel a much more controlled and reduced version of Water Blast for drinking water, switching between everyone to give them water as well.
Azure will do drugs. Nah, she'll go for a Double Attack on one of the bats.

Malik will run, pull Sylvia out of the Golem's way and heal her if he can.

Lupis will use a Focus Attack while the Golem has its back turned to him, quickly jumping back after the attack.
Sylvia will get the hell out of its way while shooting another Water Blast to keep its attention off of Lupis

Kick attempts to weaken Water Blast and sprays it in an attempt to give Tren water. This just knocks him over on the ground, covered in water that quickly evaporates in the heat. "At least it was refreshing. Maybe we should turn back and try again tomorrow, better prepared."
Reese tosses her hammer, smacking both Gear Slimes with it before Ashley tosses an exploding flask at them. All the Slimes are then quickly defeated. "These results were about average. That wasn't too horrible considering none of you have wielded these abilities before. I shall teach you how to use these new weapons and skills then." Sci walks out of a nearby room as the Gear Slimes drag off the broken ones. Sci is a Chibi Goblin, like Reese, only he's white and wears goggles. "I see you have come to attempt to make me adventure. Well, I see no reason to longer pursue combat. If all you want is to convince me to continue adventuring with you, I wish for you to leave now."
"But Sci, you can't just sit in here all day!"
"But I can. I could easily become a shopkeeper in this town and sell my mechanical monsters. Already, the cafe down the street has found a use for one."
Azure takes out another bat, hitting it twice, but the last bat attacks again. Azure's starting to get dizzy and pale. She might pass out soon!
Lupis watches the golem carefully as Malik leaps into Sylvia, pushing her out of the way of its huge fist. Aven keeps the golem distracted with a Water Blast as Lupis finishes charging his attack and shatters the rock monster with his lance. The group takes a minute to catch their breath and heal up before continuing on their shard search. Sadly, after exploring the chasm, they don't find anything close to an Earth Shard.

Cheri smells it. "It smells like...cream cheese." She takes her spoon and eats it. "It tastes okay though. It's like candy!" She eats the bowl of soup before looking to Joey a moment and sticking out her tongue. "My tongue is green..."

Kick: "Ugh... It's my fault, I should have foreseen this. Let's just return to Terran before we become delirious..."
Reese: "Ya earn cash just by sittin on yer ass nd selling crap like dat?!"
Reese will grab Sci.
"TEACH ME YOUR WAYS."
Azure: "N-N-N-N-Nah, I got this, I swear..."
Azure will down a Potion, then Double Attack the last bat.

"Unhand me, ruffian."
Azure drinks her Potion and finishes off the last bat, but the poison worsens as she collapsed in Treblig's monster barn.
