Lupis gathers his group together as Joey shouts nearby them that he is the leader of the desert exploration team. They all generally ignore him and walk out to the port, asking Salty for a free ride. He agrees to help them out and they all set sail for the island. As they sail there, the boat is quickly boarded by some Flying Fish. The large fish with wings threaten to tear apart the ship with their razor sharp teeth. "Ye break it ye buy it! Don't let me ship get hurt."
As Reese talks to the Gear Slimes, they all stand around a moment confused before returning to their crazy dance. They carry Reese off to the cafe. As Kick tells his party the unfortunate news, the Slimes all come dancing in wildly while carrying Reese. Mocha hides behind the counter again. "I guess we'll have to find a way to make some money for now then. These are some expensive Thermoses."
"Hello, Cardinal. Azure should be okay. She just pushed herself a little too hard and got poisoned. You should be more careful. Poison is a serious condition. You'll get hurt while you fight. Anyway, she just needs some rest. So no working today, but she'll be all better tomorrow."

Sylvia: "Fish AND they're flying? This is almost too easy."
Sylvia will use Electro Shock. Can magic be used on all enemies (for reduced damage, which would be compensated here by the weakness to electricity), or can it only be used on one target? If I can only attack one, I'll attack the first one.
Lupis uses Multi Attack.

Those are single target for the most part unless some sort of gameplay element is involved like connecting the fish with metal wire or something. There's a different spell sold for area of effect.

Cardinal will head back to the café then.
Kick: "I'm sorry to disappoint, everyone. The Magigen village doesn't require immediate attention for now, at least. Let's meet again after we acquire another Thermos."
Kick will leave and examine the boards.
Reese: "Feiljthy buncha jokahs... Heh? Oh, heya kiddo!"
Kick: "Reese? Oh, hello. I'll pay you bac-"
"I'M TALKING, KID. Nawh, lessgo do dis one!"
Reese points at the Gathering Materials request.
"Er, I suppose..."

Cardinal returns to the cafe to find the Slimes dancing everywhere and Kick and Reese deciding on requests. It's pretty chaotic in here. Ryze orders a cup of basic coffee from Mocha, but Mocha is busy hiding behind the counter.

Sylvia uses Electro Blast on one of the Flying Fish, followed up quickly by Aven's Electro Shock. This quickly defeats one while Malik smashes one off of the boat with his hammer. Lupis uses Multi Attack, but only one Flying Fish is left. He decides to go for a normal attack instead, but is bit by the fish. Sky hits the Flying Fish biting Lupis to finish it off with her knife. The boat continues along and soon reaches the island. It seems to be a faster trip without a Kraken in the way. The group gets off and enters the Verian Village. The reconstruction seems to be going slowly. The people living there are living in the beach camp still and a few houses are under construction. Koren greets the adventurers. "Much welcomeness! You returned! Did you forget something?"

Joey tells Danatharf he's doing his mission alone, so Danatharf decides to go and (most likely) play civilization while Joey walks on his way toward the huge desert. He can feel the limits around him leave though and he's able to conjure up whatever he wants now. It's been a little while since he's been able to use his imagination powers.
