With their new organization, the group moves on through the tunnel slowly. There's them some strange rumbling heard as they're attacked! A Bomb floats in from the front to attack and a Lava Slime bounces in from the other side. The group prepared themselves for battle, but only Lupis and Phoenix can use physical attacks due to the layout!
Cheri and Joey check for footprints closely...
"Oh I found something!" Cheri runs over to Joey and is holding a metal object. "Look, it's all burned. Do you think it came from the explosion?"
While Soup is working on his greatest inventions of SOUP, an unknown Verian woman walks in. She seems a bit jittery for some reason and when she talks, she asks for Coffee Soup. What the heck even IS coffee soup? Maybe she just wants coffee in a bowl...

" Yes, Cheri, that might be some debris from the explosion!!! What evidence can you gather from it?"
" Um, sure, I'll make you coffee soup..."
Soup goes into his kitchen and pours coffee in a bowl. However, he decides it is bland and adds in some random ingredients he brought to the shop. He puts in some mushrooms called "Unconcioussness", "Amnesia", and "Confusion" that look appealing. Then he finds a small container of something called "Heroin" in the back of his shop, and he puts it in. After stirring greatly, he serves the soup to the lady.

Once Soup returns with the Coffee Soup, the woman gulps it down extremely fast. She then looks a bit dizzy and appears to have lost her balance before collapsing. Oh, oops. Perhaps having many gallons of coffee and heroin isn't very good of an idea. She then starts to slowly wake up, unknowing of anything.
"Well, it's some kind of metal. It's also burned a lot. It isn't too big, but it fits in my hand. It also has a knob on it you can turn. See?" Cheri lifts the metal up to show Joey.

" You should turn the knob, Cheri. Oh! I almost forgot!"
Joey summons Denatharf.
" Help us search for clues on Mr. Polly's disappearance, Denatharf!"
" Please pay me 10,000.7 gold for that soup!!! It was very expensive! That bowl you broke was also expensive! You need to pay me 100 Gold for that!"

Lupis attacks the Bomb, and Sylvia uses an Electro Shock on it going up and over the rest of the party. Phoenix can probably take the lava slime, but we need to kill this Bomb before it explodes!
Also, some clarification. I mentioned that Kain would only stay home I Phoenix came with us, but I haven't heard anything about him coming with us despite Phoenix being part of the party. If he is here, do I control him, or are his attacks decided by you?

(Oh, sorry. I'll do that now. Also, I left Kain home to help Lupis' parents with the crops since you have a full party and his actions are decided by you.)
Kick and Reese lead their party forward and over to the beach. Once there, a familiar scene with three Scorpions returns to them...

Phoenix should probably be fine tanking lava slime since well yeah
So I'll assist the siblings in taking out the bomb with an Electro Shock

Sylvia and Aven both use Electro Shock to zap the Bomb. The electricity easily damages the unprotected enemy and is followed up by a quick jab from Lupis. The Bomb collapses on the ground as a red energy swirls around it. "Look out!" Phoenix quickly covers everyone in a red light as the Bomb explodes. The powerful explosion damages the Lava Slime, but the group is unharmed due to Phoenix's fire shield. Yura kicks the weakened cave wall around here, causing it to crumble on top of the Lava Slime. With the way back closed off, there's only one way to go now. That's forward. Everyone moves ahead carefully, watching for more surprise attacks. They eventually come across a split in the cavern. One cave goes left and another goes right. Something can be heard from behind them...
Kick and Reese notice three Scorpions scuttling along the beach again, unknowing of their presence.
Cheri turns the knob, but nothing significant happens. The knob makes a click sound though. "I think it's broken, Joey."
"Um...where am I?" The Verian is clearly confused. She probably lost her memory from your ridiculous soup mixture.

Wait, an update? Yes!
" Keep it."
" WHY, YOU ARE IN MY SOUP SHOP, WASTING MY TIME! EVERY SECOND YOU ARE IN HERE WILL MAKE YOU OWE ME MORE MONEY!"
Soup will proceed to throw a pot at the Verian.

"Okay!" Cheri holds onto the object and looks around for more clues. "I don't really see a lot more. Do you have any cool inventions that can help us out, Joey? Like that cane that can bring you up to the top of buildings?"
Soup effectively chases the woman from his shop as she begins to cry. The pot he throws at her hits her directly in the head as she begins to bleed slightly. The woman eventually crawls her way out of the soup shop in her pathetic state.
Kick and Reese charge forward, attacking the closest Scorpion. With Tren and Gray attacking soon after, the Scorpion collapses in defeat. The Slime that has been with them starts to panic, running around in circles as two more Scorpions approach, noticing Kick's party brutally murdering his Scorpion brethren.

Uh-oh, forgot about the rest of our party.
Kick will run in and grab the Slime, then put in under his hat for safety. He'll then use Fireball against a Scorpion.
Reese will directly attack the same Scorpion that Kick attacked.

" Wait a second..."
Joey is completely still for 10 entire minutes.
" I have a revolving door! Come on Cheri, let's go get it!"
Joey runs to his bunker and starts digging around. He eventually finds a large revolving door.
" I can get some use out of this thing."
Joey will proceed to carry to the top of the castle, and request for Cheri to give him the door knob.
