Ultra and Yoshi
You both enter the Floating Ruins through the front doors. Inside, you see that the place is in disarray. Everything here seems destroyed for the most part. You also notice that this place seems to be built...well, strangely. For one thing, you're standing on the ceiling. Looking up, you can see the actual floor. There's a mysterious lever towards the center of the room. It looks like you can't move forward in this room thanks to the gaping hole in the ceiling. However, the actual floor looks like it can be traversed forward. If you could walk on it...

Well call out Sophie and give her the power bracelets and have her fly Kelly and the toads to the lever and pull it.

You summon Sophie and give her the Power Bracelets so she has the strength to pull the old lever. As she does so, it feels like the entire world has shifted and gravity changes so you're now standing on the floor instead of the ceiling. Interesting. Your group then continues along the ruins and notices another lever. But there's no ceiling here. Better be careful not to pull it. As your group walks along, you see mysterious notes on the walls. Suddenly, the walls start to shake! Two giant, humanoid figures come out of the wall! Rock Golems stand there and stare you down. It looks like they're walking toward the lever! Stop them before they can pull it and launch everyone up into the sky!

Summon a Thomp to halt there progress. Then have Sophie keep pelting the Rock Golems with the Fuji Yumi.

You summon a thwomp that sits in front of one of the Golems, blocking the way toward the lever. Sophie then takes out the Fujin Yumi and unleashes multiple energy arrows into the other Golem, followed by a blast of water from Brick. The Golem looks injured, but still seems fine for the most part. He picks up a large boulder and throws it in your general direction, smashing Brick with it. Brick is returned to the sphere. The other Golem punches the Thwomp and shatters him apart before continuing onward toward the lever. Thwomp is returned to the sphere.

(Because you're limited to what you can and cannot edit. Because of no canonical reason other than it's better for gameplay. Also, when it comes to fourth wall in this game, what the hell is a fourth wall?)

Okay Sophie will go ahead and start distracting the Golems with Fuji Yumi shoots and call out Jess to go ahead and use Dragon Rush on one of the golems. Kelly focuses on keeping the frogs safe while they are in her bag.
Then try to edit one of the golems to come to our side and also so he can speak our language.

Ultra tries to edit one of the Golems, but it looks like it resisted the ability! You must not have weakened it enough yet. Sophie continues to rain arrows from the Fujin Yumi on one of the Golems before Jess uses a Dragon Rush, raising her stats and doing damage to the same enemy. You then activate edit on the weakest Golem and manage to get into its code. You change it so that it can speak and so that it's your ally.
"Me stop bad Golem." The newly gained Golem ally punches the other Golem as it approaches the lever, doing what looks like decent damage and knocking it back.

Okay continue to weaken the golem until Ultra gets a chance to edit the hostile Golem.
Have Jess focus on water kicks and Sophie focus on keeping the golem busy. Not attacking directly but more less keeping its attention away from the lever and everyone else.
Kelly will heal the friendly Golem.

The Golem is hit with multiple attacks before you edit it into being your ally instead of an enemy.
