You continue to play cards. The storm above seems to die down. Whatever caused it must have been resolved. Flying Pegawhalebot helps enhance the entire card game with obnoxious sound effects. The bandits are decent at cards, but you manage to beat them without too much difficulty. "Darn, it looks like I lost. Hey, you're pretty cool. We should play again sometime."

You hop on Flying Pegawhalebot and fly up into the air, getting a good look around at the area. The place seems to have dried up almost as suddenly as the rain first came. You notice that there's some kind of oasis to the north and a large canyon to the east. You can see dragons over there. There's also the desert bunker. You can also see that further west, the town has a port area connected to the ocean.

You return to the Bandit Outpost, only at the port section. There's a few people around here, but you notice mostly thieves and the like. They seem to be trading and making deals and stuff. There's a large market for dragon scales here. Looks like they sell for a lot.

They have dragon scales and money. Actually, this looks like a good business opportunity to profit. You could probably kill some dragons yourself and make some money. Or as Flying Pegawhale says, "You'd make a killing!"

Some of the bandits look at you, but nobody looks like they want to trade. You also notice that you've caught the attention of a few sketchy looking guys.
