You search around for a way to shut off the electricity to the panel for a while, checking all nearby areas to see if anything of importance can be found. Jonathan then comes across a sign that has some sort of warning on it. "If the panels are not functioning correctly, please head to the Generator Room and check to make sure the electricity is properly flowing." It looks like there's a generator room down here somewhere. If you find it, you may be able to shut off the electricity to this room and get the note stuck in that thing without getting injured.
Mars and Elegra
The party enters the closest passenger cart from the back with Ayane jamming her blade in between the doors and prying them open. As they head inside, they get a quick look around. This cart seems entirely abandoned. Clearly, nobody has been here for a long while. Hm. It looks like students were on this train cart last. There's a lot of bags and suitcases that Mars would recognize as official Hero's Sun stuff. There might be something important inside them. Searching might not be a bad idea. However, there's also other carts to explore. It looks like there aren't enemies in this one. Erika seems to be sticking close to Elegra.
"U-Um...I don't see any enemies in here, but maybe we should be careful...Is it okay if I close my eyes...? I don't want to see anything...scary."

You head back upstairs and take a look at the map. Ah, there it is. It was difficult to see before due to part of the map display being broken, but if you look carefully, you can make out part of the words for Generator Room. It looks like it's on the ground floor here. The only issue is that both doorways further through this floor seem to be blocked by debris. The right side leads to the train platform, but the left side leads to the generator room. You'll need to clear a way through the rubble to proceed. A powerful attack might be enough to destroy it, but that would likely cause a lot of noise...

Elegra kneels down Erika's height and puts a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry, Erika... But you need to keep your eyes open. I know this stuff's scary, but what if some monster sneaks up on you? ...How about you watch through the door while Mars and I search the car?"

"Um...a-actually, I think I'd feel safer staying closer to you two. If there are more of those things...I don't want to be alone..." Leafet pats her on the head in an attempt to comfort her and hands her a few berries to eat. "I'll do my best to stay brave. I'll watch and make sure nothing attacks us while you guys search..." Erika and Leafet look around the train cart, keeping a specifically watchful eye on the door the group entered from.

Mars observes the cart. "Hmm... Hero's Sun... There may be some items of value here." Mars and Ayane proceed to search the cart, specifically the bags and suitcases.

Mars and Elegra
You check the train cart thoroughly, making sure to check all of the bags and such in here. Among the various school supplies, you find a Knight's Blade and what looks like a Armored Note. Not bad finds. Erika seems happy that you found something. You also seem to be lucky enough that enemies didn't ambush you while you were searching. This cart seems to be fully explored. You could check the other ones or head home now.

Mars: "Good... Now, just because there weren't enemies in this cart means the rest of the train is secure... Let's investigate the next cart, but we should try entering from the outside again. We need to be able to escape to an open area instead of the previous cart."

Your team heads outside before going back in through the next train cart. Ayane opens the doors in the same fashion before you move in. Once the team enters inside, however, they are immediately met by a small group of Abominations that were trapped inside!

Elegra lands a quick Poison Kiss on the left Abomination before Tulip jumps off her shoulder and slashes at it with his claws. Ayane then jumps in and slashes at it, taking it out as she sheathes her blade. Mars leads the charge on the next enemy, slashing it with his sword before Erika spins her blades around, hitting the same enemy before Leafet finishes by shooting a leaf at it.

It looks like you made it through alive. Sadly, anything you could have used in this train cart seems to be destroyed by those things...
