"i think the place on the outside of this place can be called a 'hub', there is a way to get out. there is a magic map somewhere in the vault that also changes to match the room layout of this place. however I have not found it. if I did why would I still be here?"

Can I buy the attack badge? I think I have enough after the thunderbird battle.. You can, you have 15 gold, so if pixy buys something you both can empty out the Vault's shop |

(wait wait Blood, you and fuzz are not at the shop yet....well i guess i will fix that, oh and fuzz you did not get any money from sparing the Poptop, Usually Sparing a foe allows you to tame it and Gain an NPC to control. but you did not want to do that it seems. My fault for not being clear enough on that)

As you both are walking in the hallway you overhear a robot talking about a Magic Map is the only way to leave this place.
--Everyone--
Before Jacob leaves Disko king, Cinder, and Cadence, walk in. Disko king sees the Sound reflecting off of the badge and throws his money at the Robot Merchant, just so happens to be exactly enough to buy the badge, and such the Robot gives you the badge
"Hello Sir, please Enjoy the item, do you Need an Explanation on Badges?"
Further Examination of the room, Cinder sees Pikachu Wearing a Scientist outfit, and a Weird Formless Creature, guess its some new friends

"Right, introductions. Hello there, my name is Cinder. This is Cadence, the two of us saw you on a security feed while searching for a way out, we also found a map there which is probably the one you're referring to."
Cinder shows them the map.
"The man over there is Disco King, we found him by the exit but since the way out is filled with rubble we need something to blast our way through. And you are?"

"Badges are Magical items, when equipped have many effects. These effects can range from Stat buffs to New weapons and attacks. you can only have 3 badges equipped at a time. and Multiples of the same badge stack their effects as well"

(Maybe, but we've got a pretty impressive team here and it feels better from a moral standpoint to help him, especially since it's basically what my characters do for a living. In fact, the only reason I haven't put out a post accepting his request is that I'm waiting for @mustardofdoom to make a post in response to my characters and Disco King showing up rather than moving on too far for him to have an opportunity to get a post in on the matter.)

Pixy goes over and looks at the two. So it seems like there are other Pokemon here. So what brings you two here?
