Clare, Namo, Anirbas, Virgil

Clare snares another one of the bears with her whip before Virgil runs into the front from the back, slamming his harpoon into it. One of the soldiers shoots at the bear, taking it down. Anirbas then controls her whip, causing it to lash at one of the bears while Namo unleashes a powerful punch to knock it backward. One of the soldiers then shoot at it, taking it down. With the last of the bears defeated, they seem to relax a bit. Then, suddenly, from behind a Frost Lizard leaps at one of the soldiers and attacks them, taking them down.

Before it can continue to strike at anyone else, a woman suddenly dashes in from the shadows and cuts down the lizard. "Whew, glad that thing's taken care of."

As she says that, the surviving soldier behind her stumbles backward and calls in another group of soldiers on his communication device. "C-Crystal Liberators! They're here! Send backup immediately!"

Another figure from the shadows jumps in, knocking the soldier out with a hammer. "Gah, great. Now they're going to send reinforcements." He's a chibi goblin wearing what looks like a cool business suit. "Lilith, there's a reason we aren't supposed to be spotted."

As he speaks, the group hears some sort of machine moving in from the distance. Suddenly, a huge mech comes charging in. "Surrender yourselves now! Place down your weapons!"

Lilith looks up at the mech and shrugs. "Ah, well. Looks like we're sticking to the old fashioned way of doing things."

Mog, Sonja, Tear

Mog uses his cards, slashing at another lizard before Sonja performs a blade dance, finishing it off as she swings her blade around for a combo of attacks. Tear runs in and attacks another one with her claws followed by gunfire from the soldiers taking it out. The last lizard begins to run toward Tear, but before it can, a Magigen walks out from a nearby building swinging what looks like a staff in the air before multiple arcane bolts fly out from it and crash into the lizard, defeating it. "Wh-Whoa, that worked..."

The soldiers look over at him and notice the crystal on his staff, pointing their guns at him. "Put your weapon down or we'll be forced to shoot!"

"What...!? No, I'm not...I'm not a bad guy. I just...found this..."

Joey, Loafus, Kepa

Joey whips the dragon while Loafus unleashes a powerful blast on it. Kepa then strikes with her gunblade. The dragon lets out a loud roar before breathing out an ice meteor that flies past the front row and crashes into the back, causing the dragoons to be launched throughout the area. One of their halberds falls on the roof of the train. The remaining dragoon charges forward and hits the Frost Dragon with his weapon. As he does so, the woman from before pokes her head up out of the emergency exit and looks around. As she spots the halberd, she jumps out and grabs it, pointing it toward the dragon with shaky aim. "Alright...I can use this. Maybe."

Virgil shivers with fear, but elects to help. He doesn't know what's going on but he doesn't like it...

Fire beams of energy at the joints of the mech.

Mog, Sonja, Tear

"I'm not...I don't know I just..." You notice he seems fairly young. Only about 14 years old. "I just found it in my parents storage. It protected me against those things..."

The soldiers lower their guns as one of them makes a motion toward them, he seems to be having a conversation with another officer through a comm device.

"And I haven't seen one like that in quite some time either, kupo. At the very least, not in a place like this. May I take a closer look?"

Clare, Namo, Anirbas, Virgil

Clare attempts to snare one of the legs on the mech, but it doesn't seem like she's strong enough to hold it in place. Namo then jumps up to the mech and lands a powerful punch, knocking it backward slightly before Anirbas controls her whip to lash at it. Lilith changes her longsword to a gun and begins firing at the mech while Virgil steps to the back, firing blasts from his harpoon. Gradvius runs in and slams the mech with his hammer, causing it to stumble backward before sparking and falling to the ground, crashing.

Lilith looks over at you all and grins. "Not bad."

Gradvius shakes his head, sighing as he walks over to you. "It looks like we've gotten you mixed up in our mess. Sorry about that."

"Hey, we aren't just gonna leave them are we?"

"What are you suggesting?"

"We should take them with us on our mission." She points off in the distance toward the large building where the crystal is housed. "We have to get back over there to the crystal. That's where all these monsters are coming from. We have to move quickly before those guards catch us again though."

Mog, Sonja, Tear

He looks at mog and nods a bit, handing him the staff. It isn't anything too fancy. Simply a metal rod with a crystal attached at the end of it. You can tell the magic he used came from the crystal. An interesting weapon indeed. It seems rather old. This must have been made a long time ago.

As Tear starts trying to talk the soldiers into leaving, the one she speaks to glares at her before looking over at the group around the staff. "Alright, you four. We're going to escort you to safety. The Crystal Liberators are on the loose and its our job to keep the civilians safe."

The soldiers wait for the group to put their weapons away and follow them.

Joey, Loafus, Kepa

Joey tries to use his whip and close the dragon's mouth, but he's not very skilled at using it and just sort of smacks it in the face. Kepa follows with a strike from her blade before the woman manages to figure out how the halberd works and shoots at the dragon. The dragoons, flying behind you, all unleash their fire on the dragon as well before Loafus unleashes a powerful blast, knocking the dragon down from the air with a loud roar as it goes crashing downwards.

The dragoons then land on the train, looking at you. "Alright, put your weapons down. We're taking everyone off this train."

Mira looks at them, still holding the halberd a bit shakily. "Where are you taking us?"

"That's not important right now. I said drop the weapons." He takes aim at the woman.
