Abirbas is in the back row
Anirbas will Whip Throw a small Malboro into the giant one.
Metal Scrap will attack a Malboro. (Basically just launches itself into the enemy)

Claire will fall back and continue to lash out with his whip.
Sonja will fall back and unleash a bunch of arrows towards him.

Oh shit, we do NOT have the gear to handle Bad Breath. Staying back at a distance, Mog will use another Arcane Blast on the Giant Malboro in the hopes of interrupting its attack.

You don't have enough back row spaces for all three of you to move back. Also, when your switching rows you can only choose to just switch or use a switch attack unless you have a skill that specifically states you can use it during a switch. Part of the complexity of the battle system is knowing when to switch and when to unleash your skills as well as balancing ranged and melee attacks for stagger and topple combos.

Any way we can get everyone but Anirbas in the back row then get the metal scrap in front of her?

Not really. This fight was designed for four players, not six...
I figured if you gave all the Luck AE to one person, they may be able to resist the ailments better, but you guys seem to be spreading it out a bit evenly at the moment instead of gathering specific AE types.
Anyway, you'll have to pick two people to get hit by the breath, but the fight is definitely doable with four since...it was made for four.

Okay I will sacrafice Clair since Sonja can still fly and she has both good options for close range and Long Range.
So Clare will rush the Giant Marlboro and smack it with her whip

Uhhhhh, if that Metal Scrap attack gets rid of its party slot in the back, Tear uses a switch attack to the back. If it doesn't, Tear uses a Spirit Slash on the Giant one.

Sonja uses her wings and flies to the back while unleashing a barrage of arrows on the Giant Malboro. Tear follows her lead, retreating backwards while releasing energy claw swipes that crash into the Giant Malboro as well. Cherim runs over to Tear and holds out a hand towards her. "Here, this should help." A warm light surrounds her and she finds her wounds are healed. Metal Scrap flies into the normal Malboro before Anirbas runs up and grabs it with her whip, swinging it into the Giant Malboro. The normal Malboro falls over, defeated. Mog casts another Arcane Blast, hitting the Giant Malboro before Clare charges in and lashes at the Giant Malboro with her whip. The Giant Malboro expels a green gas from its mouth, covering the front row! Sonja and Anirbas are both hit by it and receive a multitude of status ailments from it. Both Sonja and Anirbas are damaged from poison! The Giant Malboro's eyes are fixed on the front row. The ground is shaking.
Front Anirbas - Poison/Paralyze/Speed--/Strength--/Defense-- Clare - Poison/Paralyze/Speed--/Strength--/Defense--
Back Mog Cherim Sonja Tear Metal Scrap
Enemy Front Malboro - Dead Giant Malboro Malboro - Dead

Well, considering the only stat changes you've received so far are those Luck AE, you're all statistically even on the defensive scale. It might be a better idea to take a look at skills than stats right now. Although I think the only one with defensive skills so far is Lilith. And the only one with healing skills is Cherim. You guys should probably try getting some of those after this...
