La Rena looks around and pulls the brakes, slowing down quite a bit and getting to the back of the group. The enemies woosh past her and she takes her chance to fire at them. Nogeko notices La Rena falling behind and follows after her, shooting at the rear enemies as well. La Rena gets surprisingly used to the controls and is good at aiming. It's not so different from shooting with her bow. Kinda. You just point and shoot. And...not crash. Nogeko is just sort of gunning everything that looks like an enemy down. Fox takes the lead, heading to the front. He fires his way through a couple of the ships and Dave finishes off the rest with a charged blast. Nogeko accidentally hits Dave a couple of times with his gunfire.
"Hey, watch where you point that thing, Furball!"
"I DON'T TAKE ORDERS. I AM CAPTAIN NOGEKO MOGEKO! MOGEGE!"
Fox speaks through the headset to the others. "Knock it off, you two. We need to focus on the enemy, not each other."
"K." Rena continues to fly around and gun down enemies.
The party approaches a few buildings and flies over the ground. Small enemy tanks are all over the ground and some of them are shooting out missiles toward the Arwings! There's also two large ships that look like giant chainsaws flying on both sides of the party. Flurrie comes in on the headset. "Alright, are you ready, sugar? Those tanks on the ground will shoot targeting missiles. You have to shoot them before they shoot you. If the missiles fly at you, either lead them into another enemy or shoot them down before you're hit. Those big chainsaw things can take a bunch of hits, but one charge shot should take them down, sugar. There's a waterfall canyon up ahead. Duck down through there for some cover. You can take that way to avoid most of the enemy forces. Good luck, my little birdies." Flurrie winks at nothing again.
Meanwhile, Seiberg prepares to explain everything to the two other Star Fox team members the Wild Crows stole the ships from. He explains everything about the tower. "...And that's the gist of it."
"That's completely insane! But I guess that would explain how you got on our ship undetected. The name's Falco Lombardi. I'm the best pilot on the team."
"My name is Samus Aran. I usually handle our ground operations."
"Oh, my name is Seiberg. I am a mage. So, tell me, what type of Magitek IS your suit made out of?"
"...Magitek?"
"Yes."
"I don't believe I've ever heard of that before."
"Right, this world must not use Magitek..."

"Alright, team. Diamond formation!" Fox takes the lead, taking down tanks while Nogeko and Dave take the sides. The two charge up their shots and take down the chainsaw blades on either side of the team. Rena stays in the back, shooting down any incoming missiles. She saves Fox from being pelted with missiles a few times as he leads the team toward the waterfall. "Thanks, Rena. I owe you one."
"np."
The team flies through the waterfall into a canyon with multiple waterfalls on both sides. "Alright, sugar. Corneria is just ahead. General Pepper is stuck on the tower. You'll have to fight off the enemies around the tower. Good luck~" The team soon comes through another waterfall and enters Corneria. "Location confirmed. Sending supplies, sugar~" A package containing powerful bombs is dropped down and each team member gains a bomb to use. There are spider-like robots all over the place. They're huge. There's probably about twenty or so of them climbing everywhere. They're releasing a strange wave that damages ships that come into contact with it.
Meanwhile, on the ship, Samus and Seiberg talk about Magitek and bond a little bit over the experience. Falco gets bored and heads up to the control room to watch the fight with Flurrie. "Hey, Fox, don't waste that bomb. You only get one."

"Alright, split up. Dave and I will get the spiders all together. Rena, stay back and shoot from a distance. Nogeko, shoot at what spiders you can. Try to lead them towards us."
Fox and Dave fly in, shooting at some of the spiders to catch their attention. They both take down two of the twenty spiders and are starting to be followed. As they fly around, they lead the spiders closer together. Rena snipes a couple of the spiders from a distance, using charged up, single shots. Fox and Dave continue to fly around and keep the spiders together, but there are so many firing strange waves at them, that they're unable to avoid all of them. Even with Barrel Rolls. Their ships are damaged a little, but Fox shoots down another spider while he can. Nogeko keeps the spiders in line, stopping them from wandering too far, and shooting down the ones that try to leave. Once the remaining twelve or so are together, Dave gives Fox the signal and he shoots his bomb down at the spiders. All of them are blown to pieces in a glorious explosion.

General Pepper's voice can be heard transmitted to you all again. "Star Fox, we are once more in your debt."
Nogeko lets out a cheer and spins around in circles in his Arwing. "WWWWOOOOOOO! WE GOT 'EM ALL!"
Flurrie then comes in again. "Watch out, sugar! There's something else coming!"
A huge, red ship descends down from above, floating over Corneria Tower.
An unknown transmission is heard. "I'LL SQUASH YOU ALL LIKE THE BUGS YOU ARE!"
"Enemy shield analyzed~" Flurrie's voice comes back in. "That thing is called Aquarosa. Not only does it have rapid fire laser turrets on it, but those huge rods you see on it can shoot massive beams."
Falco's voice can be heard as well. "You're toast if you don't know how to maneuver! Don't let anyone that isn't used to flying an Arwing NEAR those huge beams."
"Be careful, sugar. The downside to those beams is that you can hit them too. The rest of the ship is armored and won't get hurt, but I bet if you blow up those beams, you can take down the whole thing."

Fox takes the lead, bringing his allies toward the huge ship. Rena and Nog stick close to each other and head upwards, getting themselves some distance from the ship. Dave flies at Fox's side. As Dave and Fox fly around the enemy ship, Fox fires at the small rapid fire cannons, blasting them apart as Dave charges at the first giant beam. He fires at it as much as possible while it charges up, moving out of the way just in time with the huge laser blasting past him. Rena and Nogeko launch two charged shots from a distance at the beam, blasting it apart. A large chunk of the ship is destroyed in an explosion and the party moves on to the next beam.
They continue on with the second and third beams, having no problems. When it comes to the last beam, Dave is hit by a couple of the turrets and is knocked toward the beam. Luckily, Rena launches a charged shot at it and takes it down just in time. The huge ship falls to pieces in a huge explosion and a small escape pod launches up in the air. The unknown transmission comes in again. "NOOOO! THIS ISN'T THE LAST YOU'VE HEARD FROM ME, STAR FOX!"
"That takes care of that." Dave looks satisfied with the team's work.
"Nice work out there, sugar~"
"We're heading out. All aircraft report!"
"This thing got a little banged up, but I'm alright."
"NOGEKO WINS!"
"K."
The party returns to the Great Fox and notices the elevator door opens up. It seems they've cleared this floor.
Will you ask the Star Fox team to join you?

The party asks Fox's team about leaving with them on their adventure. After telling them the entire story of everything that's happened so far, they decide to join you. After all, if this mysterious Challenge Tower person is destroying everything and trying to ruin every world, that includes theirs. They do say that they want to come back and finish what they started though. After all, their world is still in danger, even if they save it from this tower's owner. ROB says that he can't leave and that he has to keep watch over the Great Fox while everyone is gone.
The party heads into the elevator and a new section to it is added. The hangar. They can store their vehicles in there and call on them whenever they're needed. They can also repair their vehicles while they're in there. Ten new floors open up as well. The elevator expands since you have more people in it. More beds are made and available for them as well. Seiberg pushes the button for Floor 3 and the elevator moves down.
There's a ding and the doors open, revealing what looks like some sort of town. The buildings look sad and partly destroyed and there's a black castle in the distance that stands tall. The clouds seem to be swirling around there. A tower goes up to the sky from the castle. There are some Toads living on the streets here. They look sad and are dressed in rags. You all notice a girl walking around, dashing behind one building to the next and wearing what looks like a brown cloak to hide her face.
Who will enter the floor?

Flurrie, Samus, Waite, and Dave all get off the elevator and step into the dark world of Floor 3. The clouds above look like storm clouds, but Waite can tell it won't rain. It's as if the clouds are trying, but aren't able to rain. Looking around, the area is still the same. There are many dilapidated buildings. Remnants of a world before this time. Many Toads are living on the streets here. They don't look up at the party at all. They keep their eyes glued to the ground with their hopeless expressions. The hooded woman you saw before dashes past you, heading between one building and the next.
"Oh my. What happened here?" Flurrie looks around.
"It looks like we've entered a post apocalyptic planet. Be on guard. I get the feeling that whoever's in charge isn't going to be our friend." Samus makes sure her arm cannon is ready.
"These guys look like they're feeling pretty down. They won't even look at us." As Dave stands there, footsteps of marching soldiers can be heard in the distance. The party moves behind a building. A group of heavily armored turtles look around the area.
"Get looking for Papaya. She's around here somewhere. We can't let her escape!"
Waite looks at the soldiers, poking its head around the corner. Its eye gem turns red as it stares at them.

Dave walks out from behind the building and the armored Koopas look at him. "...? WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT OF YOUR ARMOR, KID!?"
"Kid? I'm not a kid! I don't even LOOK like a-"
"AND WHAT IS WITH THAT STUPID OUTFIT!?"
"This is my official uniform, you little-"
"ALRIGHT, you're coming with me, Koopin."
"THAT'S NOT MY NAAAAAMMMEEEE!" Dave is dragged off by the soldiers. It seems they mistook him for another Koopa.
The woman from before steps out from behind one of the buildings and looks to your group. "Your friend used himself as a decoy. I doubt you meant to help me, but thank you anyways. You might want to go save him...or not. Only a few people have ever escaped Marion's castle alive." She darts off quickly afterwards. The party is left in the nearly lifeless town on their own.
Meanwhile, Dave is dragged into the castle and thrown into a cell! Wait, no, this is someone's bedroom. Looking around, this looks like the bedroom to some kind of royalty. A family portrait of a man wearing red armor completely covering his body, a beautiful woman, and a young Koopa hangs in the room. He looks younger than Dave, but the resemblance is undeniable. They look very similar. "What kind of idiot gets a picture taken while wearing a helmet?" There's a large and fancy bed here. What looks like a few fancy swords are hung up on the walls. There's a full suit of armor in here as well. It's also red, like the one the man in the portrait is wearing. It's made for a Koopa and looks like it would fit Dave perfectly. There's also what looks like extravagant clothing in a nearby closet. There's a large selection of sunglasses in there too. "Nice." The bedside table has some sort of locket sitting on it. Dave opens it up and sees there's the same portrait in it as there is on the ceiling. There are many flowers throughout the room, growing in pots. Dave finds a bookshelf full of gardening info too. "Looks like whoever I was mistaken for is a huge flower nerd. And royalty at that."

Dave takes the armor and wears it himself. It fits almost perfectly. Nobody will know it's him. He then looks at the books. Specifically, Dr. Elijah's Complete Guide to Wheat, Wheat-Germ, and Wheat Products for Farmers, Bakers, and Merchants of all Skill Levels: The Unabridged Version, 3rd Edition, with a Forward by Mrs. Irene Gallant. He knows a lot of random wheat facts now. Dave tosses the book in his inventory for later reference if necessary.
The others head over toward the castle. It looks like there's a gate in front of the castle with guards. You'll have to find a way around if you want to get in the castle.

Samus uses the Scan Visor and searches for any weaknesses in the walls. It looks like it's been through quite a bit, so finding one shouldn't be too hard. The castle must have been taken over in a siege at some point. It's unknown whether it was long ago or more recently. There's a few weaknesses in the walls. The most prominent one is in the back wall's center. There's a few large cracks there that could potentially be used to destroy that part of the wall.

Waite fills some of the cracks in the wall with water, shrinking slightly in the proccess, before Samus freezes the water with her Ice Beam. She then blasts the wall apart with ease using an Ice Missile. However, upon blasting through the wall, the soldiers are now alerted of their presence. The party heads inside the castle and notices that there are multiple doors in the hall. There's a staircase upwards nearby and three doors on each side in this hall. Four guards are standing in the hall as well and turn toward the party. They point their lances at the Wild Crows and look like they're going to attack.
Dave hears what sounds like an explosion downstairs.

The party runs through one of the doors and the guards chase after them. Flurrie walks out of one of the doors with one of the guards chasing her and Samus runs out another one with a guard chasing her. Waite runs behind one of the guards, chasing it through another door. Flurrie and Samus run out of two different doors and criss cross paths with the guards chasing behind them. The guards then crash into each other and look confused for a moment before Waite pops out of another door and its eye turns red before chasing the two guards through another door. Dave then walks out of one of the doors and through another one, wandering through the castle in confusion. Waite transformed as a guard runs out of a door, being chased by Samus in a morph ball. The two guards run out and across, opening a door as Flurrie opens it at the same time. She then blows them into another door and slams the one she's behind shut. Nogeko then rides La Rena across like a horse. Finally, Flurrie, Samus, and Waite all run out and meet back up with each other. They look around for the guards and then Waite points to the stairs. They all nod and run off to the staircase.
While running up the stairs, Waite leaves behind a puddle of water, shrinking a little bit more. Waite is a little shorter than Flurrie now. Samus freezes the puddle and a few of the guards slip on it while trying to chase after them. Any that aren't are blown away by Flurrie. The party heads up to the top floor and finds that there are more guards up here. Six of them are in this hall. Two patrolling the halls carefully, two guarding a large door on the left side, and two guarding a large door on the right side. A mysterious Koopa wearing red armor walks out of the door on the right side. The guards salute him.
Dave walks out of the room and finds himself in a hall with six guards. The two in front of the bedroom door salute him when he walks out. "Koopin! Sir! King Marion gave use strict orders not to let you leave the castle!" There's another large door in this hall. There are also two staircases going down on either side of the hall.

"Koopin" asks about King Marion. "So, who exactly is this King Marion dude?"
"Um...Koopin, sir, King Marion is your father. Shouldn't you know that...? Wait a minute. You aren't Koopin!" Dave smashes the guard over the head with the wheat book and knocks him out. The other guard prepares to strike, but Dave curls in his shell and trips the guard, sliding past him. Samus opens fire on the guards and a laser gun fight begins. Flurrie and Waite leap across the hall and smash two guards with their body weight together. Two of the surviving guards using communication devices to speak with the rest of the castle. "THERE'S A KOOPIN IMPOSTER IN THE BUILDING. ACTIVATE SHUTDOWN. NOBODY LEAVES AND NOBODY ENTERS."

The party runs in, guns blazing. Literally. Samus shoots at the knights in the hall while Dave tosses his red shells around at them. Waite eats one of the guards, drowning them inside of its watery body and Flurrie helps to clean up any remaining guards. They then meet up with Dave. Samus speaks to Dave through her suit. "We came here to rescue you. We need to get out of here immediately."
"We can't! There's soldiers everywhere. You guys get back in that room. Look for clues on what's going on. I'll keep these dudes busy."
Samus looks around as the soldiers start to come swarming in from both sides of the hall and then nods. She motions for the others to go in first and then runs in after them, slamming the door shut. Inside of Koopin's room, they begin to quickly look around for clues as to what is going on. There's just useless information about plants everywhere! Waite looks around and notices that the window in this room has been left open. Its eye changes color to green. Flurrie finds what looks like some sort of journal on the ground. It belongs to Koopin. She quickly flips through the pages, reading through as fast as she can. There's a lot of entries about how his plants are doing and what he learned that day. This kid lives a pretty pampered life it seems. Lots of training for battle. Flurrie stops as she notices an entry that stands out.
It's about how Koopin's mother died. Apparently his father started to act differently after that. The entries after this are about Koopin attempting to escape his home. This last one is about how he plans to escape through the window and will never return to this place.
Meanwhile, outside, Dave holds his hands in the air and drops the shells in his hands. "I surrender! We don't have to fight."
As he says this, the large double doors in front of him are kicked open forcefully. A towering man in red armor stands there. He speaks in an italian accent and has a huge mustache. It must be the man in that portrait in Koopin's room. "YOU WOULD DARE TO IMPERSONATE MY SON?" He takes out a gigantic, flaming sword.
"It was an accident. I just want to know why we're fighting the-"
"BE SILENT AND DIE QUICKLY!" The soldiers grab Dave's arms and attempt to restrain him as King Marion approaches. Dave can see the flames of fury in his eyes and for a moment notices some sort of shadowy presence around Marion.

Samus begins to charge up her Shinespark while Dave withdraws into his shell and spins around rapidly. He knocks the two soldiers that were holding him away. Marion steps forward with one foot, bringing down his sword to strike, but Samus charges through the door, blasting it into pieces as she charges into King Marion. She tackles him through the doors into the throne room. Marion regains his footing and knocks Samus off of him. She manages to land on her feet and behind her, a giant blast of water is launched and smashes into Marion, making him crash into the wall behind. Waite comes into the room, being much smaller now. It's about the size of Samus' hand. Marion's sword is no longer ablaze and the room fills with a thick steam. The party notices him let out a loud shout as the sword catches ablaze again, changing to a blue flame. Dave comes spinning in the room in his shell and Flurrie floats in behind, creating a dodgey fog.
Unable to see, Marion swings his sword blindly and sends a huge blast of fire past the party, just barely missing Dave. It smashes into the wall and the entire building is soon starting to become consumed in flames. Waite looks like it's having trouble keeping together in all this heat. The soldiers begin to pour in from the double doors and the party stands to fight. "We're heavily outumbered..."
"Don't worry, sugar. I've been through worse."
Dave looks around the room quickly for anything they could possibly use. It looks like the only way out of here is through those doors. The only objects here are the throne and a few large braziers that are full of blue flames. There's also a family portrait on the wall, burning away among the flames.
