Flurrie and Nogeko head on over towards the gym. As they walk in, they see Joey walking out. "Hey! It's my rivals! I just beat this gym with Rattata. Take THAT rock types! You can't beat my Rattata!" Joey runs off after that. What a weird kid. The Wild Crows head on into the gym and notice that there's a rock themed puzzle. A large, cracked boulder blocks the way and there are weird plants around the room. There's also some girl wandering around too. Likely another trainer. From her clothes you can determine she's a Picnicker category trainer.

Flurrie challenges the Camper girl to a Pokemon battle. "Aw man, but I just wanna finish this challenge. I'm so sick of random people battling me like I'm staff." Flurrie throws out John Cena and the Camper tosses out her Geodude. "You're kidding me..." John Cena uses a sound Karate Chop to wipe out Geodude in one hit before posing with his muscles. "This is like that cheater Joey kid with his digging Rattata." She folds her arms and leans against the wall, handing over 500 Poke as a reward. "Darn it. Now I gotta go all the way back to the Pokemon Center." She leaves the gym and its wide open for you to solve this puzzle. The large, slightly cracked boulder and weird plants with large, black fruits.

Nogeko commands Scruff to smash the boulder apart, but before he can, he suddenly gets backhanded in the face. "There's a time and place for everything, dood." It sounds like Professor Prinny just smacked you for trying to use the HM without the right gym badge. Strange...

(Well...it's not even an HM so...)
John just lifts the boulder and casually chucks it over his shoulder, shattering it apart. Your team then advances into the next room with a Pokemon battle arena. A towering, muscular man stands there with an impressive beard. "I am Darunia, the rock type gym leader of Goron City. Let me ask you a question before we battle. Are you ready to rock, brother?" He stomps and shakes the ground powerfully before throwing out a Pokeball containing a Graveler.
What will you do?

John Low Kicks the Graveler into the ground, tripping it as it crashes face first. But it doesn't just flop on the floor. Graveler curls into a ball and starts to rapidly roll towards John, running him over and rolling past him. In a dramatic anime style, the Machop struggles to stand, but slowly makes it to his feet. He poses dramatically as the Graveler barrels towards him.

Graveler continues to charge toward John, but he stays calm and watches his enemy. As Graveler reaches John, he stops it with his own hands, lifting it with one hand and showing off his muscles with the other while winking at the audience. "That's my boy! You go get them, hon!" Flurrie cheers him on. Seems like she taught him how to appeal to audience members. John then jumps into the air, throwing Graveler into the ground before driving his fist downward into it. Graveler sinks into the ground a couple of feet and John stands on top, posing. Graveler then turns white, however, and explodes with the Machop getting launched into the ceiling. When he falls back down, both Pokemon are confirmed for a double knockout! Flurrie returns John Cena and Darunia returns his Graveler.
"Not bad, brother. But can you handle this!?" He throws out another pokeball containing his strongest Pokemon, Magcargo. "Hold nothing back!"
"Giggity." Nogeko's comment echoes in the arena.

Nogeko sends out Scruff and he charges forward, directly at Magcargo, smashing his head into it. Scruff tackles the shell on Magcargo directly and then stumbles back a little, dizzy. A few moments later, Scruff finds himself launched into a nearby wall by a powerful Rock Throw from Magcargo as it launches a flaming rock from its mouth. Scruff struggles to stay up, but looks determined to win. For porn. The only thing keeping it up is the promise of porn in the end. "Come on! Break him! Smash him!" Nogeko is jumping around frantically while commanding his Pokemon. Meanwhile, Flurrie is placing an ice pack on John's head while tiny stars circle around him. Fletcher helps to cheer on Scruff with tiny pom poms and dancing.
What will you do?

"When we win all of our prize money will be used for PORN!" Nogeko tries to get Scruff pumped up and a new fire lights up in his eyes. There comes a time in every young Poochyena's life where he must make a decision. Fall and fail like the others...or RISE TO THE TOP AND GET ALL THE PORN! Scruff howls before charging toward Magcargo yet again. Flurrie and Fletcher work together, cheering for Scruff while Nogeko waves around his Auster Poster, which we censored due to Verse regulations. Scruff headbutts Magcargo yet again, but the flaming snail-like Pokemon just sits there expressionless before flames blast out from it on all directions! It used Overheat! Scruff is launched backwards, next to John as the two both lay on the ground knocked out. "How could this happen...? I thought porn trumped all. When all else failed...it was always there for me. Flurrie...AVENGE ME! AVENGE MEEEEEEE!"
"Oh, hush up, you're just fine. Well, maybe not in the head." Fletcher jumps down off of Flurrie's shoulders and stands in front of her with a determined chirp. "Alright, sugar, show them what you're made of." She winks to Fletcher.

Fletcher flies up in the air, flapping his wings with all his little Fletchling might and blowing sand into Magcargo. But this Pokemon looks used to sand blowing around it. Magcargo launches a rock from its mouth toward Fletcher. Is this the end for your Pokemon dreams? Will you fail the first gym? Fletcher closes his eyes and prepares to get rocked in the face. Then a powerful gust blasts him out of the way. The rock flies past him and breaks on the wall. Fletcher's feathers are all ruffled and he shakes his head a little. Flurrie seems to have snuck in a little puff of air to knock Fletcher out of the way. She gives him a secret wink before they return to battle.
What will you do?

Fletcher swoops down and begins to fly around Magcargo in circles, creating a stream of sand around it and kicking up dirt everywhere. Magcargo tries to keep up with the fast moving bird, but as visibility is lowered from all the sand, Flurrie releases a powerful gust of wind from her mouth, creating a swirling sandstorm around Magcargo. Nogeko's Auster Poster is sucked away from it and he starts to cry. "That was limited edition..." When the sand settles, Fletcher is sitting on top of Magcargo's shell. It looks like Magcargo is dizzy. The Auster Poster burned up from touching Magcargo's face as well.
What will you do?

Fletcher flies up off of Magcargo before quickly flying past him multiple times with quick pecks. Fletcher finishes off Magcargo and stands proudly on top of the defeated enemy with a victorious cheer. "Well done, brother. You earned my respect and with it, a gym badge." Darunia hands Flurrie the Rock Badge. He also gave her something else. "That is the TM Rock Throw. It gives you the strength to toss a powerful rock, brother." With Flurrie's victory secured, the elevator door appears. You have cleared the main objective of this floor. The party can choose to wait and leave later or leave the floor now. You can always return to a green floor though.
Will you leave this floor?

Madame Flurrie pushes the button for Floor 6 and the elevator raises a little. With a little ding, the doors open and they walk out into a new area. Flurrie and Nogeko stand in wide open plains with a single, long, winding road going through it. They stand under a tall tree. A bunch of travelers walk along the nearby road, walking with a wagon moved by strange, blue creatures. Nogeko climbs up the tree and looks around from up top, seeing there is another group of wagon walkers down the road and a small town nearby. There's also a bunch of large mushrooms close by and a big town in the other direction. Flurrie and Nogeko start to cough, noticing the air around here is dangerous to breathe in. The nearby caravan has what looks like a protective barrier from this air around it though. Maybe if you go over there you won't die of poisonous air.

(I can't imagine toxic air is good for a wind spirit regardless.)
Flurrie heads over to the caravan and as she gets closer, she can breathe easy. The air feels pure and clean. Flurrie walks over toward the front of the caravan with Nogeko sitting on her head. "KUPOKUPOKUPOKUPOKUPOKUPO." Nogeko makes sure they know he's not a monster. Two people stop the blue buffalo-like creatures before turning to Flurrie. One looks like a normal human and the other is almost completely covered in armor aside from his arms which are long and look similar to bear paws.
"Hail, caravaneer! Wait, you don't look like you're from anywhere near here. And your Moogle is a little weird." The normal looking human pokes Nogeko a few times.
"Do not be rude, Daniel." The armored creature approaches you before bowing. "My name is Seiberg. We are caravaneers from the Tipa caravan. Which caravan do you hail from?"

"We came from Thataway!" Nogeko points off into the distance towards the tree.
"Thataway...An interesting name for a town..." Seiberg seems lost in thought.
"So why don't you have your Crystal Chalice with you? It's dangerous to go wandering around in the Miasma without one."
Flurrie tries to cover up the whole elevator thing. "You see, we dropped it, honey. Now we can't find it. We were lucky you came by. Having some nice caravaneers to help out is always good~" She winks to them.
"That's terrible. If your chalice is lost, your town will be destroyed! The Miasma will completely consume it."
"Right, but don't you worry, sweetie. There's already another one already on the job."
"Uh...Okay."
Before the conversation gets much further, a girl comes walking in from behind the caravan, yelling. "Why did we stop? Come on, guys, we can't just wait around and expect to find Myrrh." A very short girl with orange hair shaped sort of like an onion with leaves in her head comes walking in. "Oh. Who's this?"
"This is the caravan from Thataway."
"Never heard of it. Who are you guys?"
"We're just lost travelers, sugar. No need to get so bent out of shape. We were lost and hoping you could help us find our way around." Nogeko notices the girl and wonders what her feet look like.
Daniel tries to explain to the girl. "What do you think? Can we help them out?"
"That depends. Where are you two headed?"

"We are headed... to a harrowing challenge, a climactic showdown, and a brighter tomorrow, kupo." Nogeko poses dramatically atop Flurrie's head. This is followed by an awkward silence before Daniel breaks it.
"YEA-"
"No." The girl crosses her arms. "We are not taking a couple of lunatics with us."
Seiberg interjects. "Well we cannot simply leave them here to die in Miasma. I suggest we take them with us. At least until we reach Alfitaria."
"...Fine. But ONLY until we get to Alfitaria."
