((My b. My inaccurate post is deleted. I assumed aspects of the Lore Dump such as construction to be referring to the real world. However, I don't know what is meant by "meet your Knight" then unless it's just an expression for receiving the Garrison Carrier...))
Regardless, Ezell will still leave the shop.

(the Knight is awake and you can talk to he/she/it via the Garrison carrier's Mic and Speaker. and by the construction, the AI's can connect to Large and Dangerous Machinery to assist with construction)

Ezell beings speaking into the Carrier's mic. "Hello, unit Yuzomu. Are all systems operational?"
...There's no response. Ezell speaks into the mic again. "Are you working as intended, Cyber Knight? ...Blast. Excuse me, your Knight seems to be defec-"
"There is no need for you to do that, EZELL WORNAVA." A female voice can be heard from the Carrier's speaker. "I have successfully completed all bootup sequences since the moment I was activated. I sense no danger, and it would be better to explain myself in the digital dimension whenever you arrive, so there is no need for me to respond at the moment."
Ezell looks at the Garrison Carrier, puzzled, then simply sighs. Ezell proceeds to leave the shop with his Cyber Knight in tow.

Right, sorry.
Jacob turns on his Garrison Carrier. The image of a muscular guy shows up on screen tapping the glass.
"Hey there, does everything look alright on your end? They just stuck me in this thing the other day, I haven't had time to make sure there are no bugs yet."
"Everything looks fine out here, Samuel."
The man now identified as Samuel stares at the screen for a moment before suddenly recognizing Jacob.
"Jake? Whoa, I haven't seen you since the old Cyberknight servers closed! How's life been treating you?"
"Can't complain. I go by Jacob now, though."
"Right, I guess you're not a kid anymore. That's gonna take some getting used to, us Cyberknights don't really age. So, I guess if they let you turn this thing on then that means we're free to go, huh?"
"Almost, there's just one thing I want to buy before leaving."
Jacob goes to the gift shop and looks for a wireless earpiece.
