Oiya and Heather would still be able to beat it alone. It would just take forever.

She'd have survived with 6 HP? And that +10 staff...? Based on my calculations, nope. 22 Magic - 14 Resistance = 8 damage, so while she would have survived If I healed her before she attacked she's tied with Heather for Speed and has been going before her every turn (I'm assuming something else determines the results of a speed tie, correct?) meaning that the reflected attack would have killed her before I could do anything to save her and this fight would have gotten even longer as we would have only had one person who could attack (Oiya), she'd only be able to do damage every other turn, and her attacks would only do 2 damage. At that point the only way I could see is ending this battle any time soon would have been by performing a more complex version of charge in which we basically set patterns for our characters consisting of what we've been doing so far (only with Heather healing whenever someone gets low on HP rather than every other turn) and hoping we win before we both run out of SP and get worn down. |

Oiya defends. The Baslisk's crystals flash slightly and it's got an evil glint in its eyes. Kali casts Zap Beam, launching an electrical beam into the enemy and dealing 7 damage. Heather casts heal on herself, recovering 7 health. The Crystal Basilisk swings his tail around, hitting the party with the princess. Oiya receives 1 damage. Kali receives 7 damage. Heather receives 1 damage.

(I suppose I'll end this. Though...nothing will really move because nobody else will post. Meh. At least you can do your shopping I guess.)

The Crystal Basilisk opens its mouth and releases a crystal beam on the party. The party receives 1 damage. Oiya then slashes with her sword twice, dealing 1 + 1 damage. Oiya defends. The Baslisk's crystals flash slightly and it's got an evil glint in its eyes. Kali casts Zap Beam, launching an electrical beam into the enemy and dealing 7 damage and killing it.

The golem princess stands up and dusts herself off. Looking at her...you actually can't tell the difference between a male and female golem. This just looks like a steel golem wearing a dress. It's...actually rather comical to look at. "Thank you so much for rescuing me!" She blows you a kiss and gives you a wink. "I really must be returning home, but if you ever find yourself back in Iron City, please feel free to visit the castle. Our doors will always be open to my heroes! In fact, I might have a gift prepared for you when next you visit! Well, see you!" She spins around and then poses before darting out of the cave. A truly strange woman...golem...thing.
Without much else to do here, the party decides to return home.
