The team all charges down the enemies, taking them out quickly without much resistance.
Victory!
Alfredo reaches level 3! Alfredo's Health, DP, and Defense increase by 2! Alfredo's Strength and Resistance increase by 1!
The party received 20 Digital Bits!
They continue onward, but something strange appears to be on the horizon. Hikuro growls at it and steps back, warning the others not to get too close. It appears to be a black, metal humanoid creature. It wraps one of its hands around what appears to be a harmless, spherical, white program and lifts it to its mouth, opening to reveal sharp teeth. It then consumes it, filling the white sphere with some sort of purple, corrupting virus before it disintegrates away and makes it stronger. It turns and looks toward the party before lunging at them!
"Ewww! What IS that thing and why did it eat that program!?" Neon seems grossed out.
"I'll handle this! Face JUSTICE, villain!" PB points dramatically.
Hikuro is on guard. "Be careful! It has the ability to corrupt our data. Don't let it do that!"
"Do we have to fight...? Fine..." Alfredo reluctantly joins the battle.
The strange, Vitmon-like program opens its mouth and lets loose a painful screech. RIP headphone users.

Hikuro's fangs are surrounded in darkness as he charges forward and bites the hard, protective shell of the enemy, dealing 2 damage. Neon then points their finger guns at Metal before shooting plasma bolts and dealing 1 damage. It seems the enemy is resistant to electric element attacks! Metal seems to be charging up energy. You can hear his engines running faster. "Boost Drive engaged." It's capable of moving twice per turn now! PB surrounds his fist in gales before landing a powerful punch on Metal for 11 damage. Alfredo then runs forward and claws at Metal, dealing 1 damage.

Alfredo stands in front of PB, protecting him. Hikuro charges forward and bites Metal once more for 2 damage. Neon then punches Metal, dealing 1 damage. Metal's chest opens up, unleashing a barrage of missiles on the entire party! Alfredo receives 1 damage. Alfredo receives 1 damage. Hikuro receives 4 damage. Neon receives 3 damage. Metal moves forward and punches Hikuro, dealing 4 damage. PB surrounds his fist in gales before punching Metal and dealing 11 damage.

Koto and Carrie both activate a DP Restorative and PB recovers 10 DP. Hikuro and Neon take defensive stances. Alfredo uses Ally Guard on Hikuro, standing in front of him to protect from incoming attacks. Metal unleashes a barrage of missiles on the party! PB receives 3 damage, Alfredo receives 1 damage, Alfredo receives 1 damage, and Neon receives 1 damage. Metal unleashes another barrage of missiles on the party! PB receives 3 damage, Alfredo receives 1 damage, Alfredo receives 1 damage, and Neon receives 1 damage. PB then leaps forward with his fist surrounded in gales before slamming it into Metal and dealing 11 damage! Metal was deleted.
Victory!
The party receives 100 Digital Bits!
Hikuro reaches level 6! Hikuro's DP and Speed increase by 2! Hikuro's Strength, Resistance, and Dexterity increase by 1!
Neon reaches level 6! Neon's DP and Magic increase by 2! Neon's Defense, Resistance, and Speed increase by 1!
Pootis Birb reaches level 6! Pootis Birb's HP and DP increase by 2! Pootis Birb's Strength, Defense, Resistance, and Speed increase by 1!
Alfredo reaches level 4! Alfredo's HP increases by 2! Alfredo's Strength, Defense, Resistance, Speed, and Luck increase by 1!
The party watches as the strange, Vitmon-like program is deleted away. It seems like some remnant of it remains. Hikuro steps forward and picks it up.
The party receives Corrupted Data Fragment!
Hikuro looks a bit confused. Neon pokes the fragment a couple of times. Alfredo looks around and then looks at Hikuro. "Maybe we should go home now." Hikuro nods. The Vitmons all return to the home island.
